I missed your videos. During the earlier years of my natural hair journey, I would download your videos and take my laptop with me to a hair salon or to my mum and I’ll have whoever’s doing my hair watch your video and replicate the style of technique on my hair.

So glad you’re back! You taught me how to African thread my girls hair and now that they are older these rope twist will make it easier to teach them how to care for their hair themselves! Thank you 😊

Just Smaj Aww thank you! Yes that is so true. I’m transitioning my oldest. I have her do the first few rows at the back herself and she’s doing a great job 😍

👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😃 That was so wonderful to watch! I love the way you speak! Beautiful English accent...I'm biased, I have a very similar voice! 😄 Your video was wonderful! I really enjoyed watching you do your youngest daughters hair routine. I have a son, whose he's 16, so I wasn't watching for him, I was watching for my Grandneice whose 9mths old. I want my niece to use a healthy hair growth routine on her daughters hair, so I'm going to share your video with her. I love your, 'GIRLS YOU ROCK', T-SHIRTS and hope to purchase one or two for my Grandneice. Thank you again and look after your 3? beautiful, little girls 🥰

This really helps. I was kinda doing a flat twist right, but it always ended up really loose and messy-looking. It’ll do it this way from now on (putting the hair you’re twisting on top of the section you’re picking up, then pick the larger section up and twist).

I wish I found you when I was natural. Maybe I would still be that way. Do you have tips.for relaxed hair
@GirlsLoveYourCurls4 жыл бұрын
omenlightenment Hello my lovely. My relaxed days weren’t a success, my hair would always break, so I don’t have great advice in that area. There’s much more hair care information now, than when I was relaxed. 😊

Hi. Did you post your revised shea butter mixture yet? I use to make your older version. Need to make more so I'll wait for the newer version. Thanks

No, haven’t missed it. I’ll be posting the newer version soon.🥰

This was so helpful I can’t wait to do my daughters hair. So do you stretch the hair prior to twisting it?
@GirlsLoveYourCurls4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! No I don’t stretch prior. I find it gets less fluffy and lasts longer when I braid on wet/damp hair.🥰

A "stitch on pick" (I hope that was what I heard) aka "seam ripper".
@GirlsLoveYourCurls4 жыл бұрын
Yes we call it a “stitch unpick”, which is a seam ripper. 🥰

My daughters twist always unravel after 4 or so days. So we are stuck with three strand braid😅

How long does this style last?
@GirlsLoveYourCurls4 жыл бұрын
Weirdflower We keep this style in for 4 weeks. 😊
@judixx42474 жыл бұрын
Very helpful. What's your opinion on adding black yarn to make the style last longer? My 4 year old's 4C hair is very soft and slipperly with lots of fly-always so such style look neat for just a couple of days yet she swims once a week. So I add yarn to make it last atleast 2 weeks but I worry about the effect of yarn on her hair.
@GirlsLoveYourCurls4 жыл бұрын
Judi Xx I’ve heard people add yarn to their styles with no issues. I’ve never tried it though, so I can’t really say. Maybe try it on one or two twists and do the others without and see how it goes?
