We were talking about teaching the other day; I’ve used that exact same analogy for my beginner banjo players. In fact I made them stand on one leg, rub their stomachs, and pat their heads while singing the ABC song. They were able to do it after about 2 minutes, and I told them that playing the banjo is easier than that. It just takes practice. One thing at a time. I think you’re doing a fine job explaining all of this.

Just found your channel thanks to Clifton Hicks. I'm amazed by your technique and I'm trying it on my banjo. The flip trick is quite ok, I need to continue practicing, but the looping one is so difficult. Thank you for inspiring me and my way of playing.
