Flippy tricks that'd be the end of my banjo aside, I feel like this dude understands exactly what I love about old time music if these are the two songs he picked to perform on Clifton's channel. Coon dog is one of my all time faves, but just lost a lil' luster to Rooster Crow. His version of that song deserves a tutorial. Aaron broke down the flippy tricks on his channel. Y'all can learn how to drop your banjos, I just want to learn that song. How 'bout it there, Clifton? Aaron?

@Unwritten_Pages11 ай бұрын
Banjo is tuned open so long as he bangs the strings it makes a chord.

I think he has a backup rhythm banjo behind the camera. (Like one guy plays rhythm while the other plays melody and sings)

I can tell you that that banjo weighs nothing! I have a Calkins banjo and they are weightless. But his Gretsch has some weight. The trick is finding where the sweet spot is and keeping a good grip! I can do the same thing not as fancy though!
