your advice for rain has been working for me in North Central Texas. We started a project to put in a water line back in April, and haven't hand enough dry weather to actually get down in the trench to install the pipe!

Hi William, I just gotta say I am loving all these compost videos! Between your channel and your dad Billy on his channel aswell, we are all getting spoiled with abundant compost video content and I am loving it. I have a small 3 bay lean to shelter at home for my piles and I am always learning so much from you guys. Keep it up. Much love from Andrew in ontario canada

It’s ok. Things are hard in the world right now. Actually ass backwards. I have total respect for you when you poured the we cow poop buckets in the compost. I was so nervous and didn’t want it to splatter all over you. 😂You did good. I have been composing and doing Worm Verma composting. It’s fun. Take care and God bless.

Also the the two item compost is looking good. Sometimes in my worm bins and compost I struggle with flys and gnats in the spring. I use BTI. It helps but it’s hard to stay on top of everything. Again I love you handling the poop level.

Thanks for sharing. I have several compost piles that I have flipped five or six times. I really started noticing a lot of worm activity and the last few weeks and I started seeing worms that went really crazy wiggling around when I uncovered them I started looking into what type of worm, they are and found out their Asian jumping worms Now I have some huge piles of really awesome looking compost that I’m afraid to put in my garden. Any advice would be appreciated.

Those channel locks are actually called knipex (k is pronounced, unlike the word knife) knipex is a german brand. the k is pronounced. it sounds like you were on the right track originally.

Our weather turned back to cold(mid 30’s to mid 50’s and rainy and cloudy. Eventually I’ll have compost. Did see worms last I flipped it. I’m new at this as you know; is that a good thing? Maybe I should use this as mulch. I’m kind of at a loss and a bit frustrated.

#PermacultureQ&A When you are doing the chicken tractor on steroids compost, do you want to flip the compost the same way for the first two turns once it comes out of the ring?

#PermacultureQ&A: I live in Malaysia, there's so much rain here, and boy its all heavy. But i don't have a tarp to cover my pile... please advise 🙏... thanks!

I would try to find a sheet of plastic if possible. It really needs to be covered, or it will go anaerobic and not break down properly.
