I love how you embrace your natural texture and don't try to fight it or alter it too much. Natural black beauty at its finest!

Finally someone with the same type hair texture as mines. My twist look like yours and I always thought I was doing something wrong because it wasn't so smooth like the other girls doing their twist outs. This video gives me hope! Thank you so much for sharing.I will be trying the half plat half twist because my roots always look so fluffy after I untwist.

New subbie! You are a true 4c sister and I love it! Starting the twist with a braid is good idea. I do it all the time. You don't have to separate so much with that technique. Instead of rollers have you tried the hanging Bantu knot? I'm glad ran across your channel.

Another option is to use spring water in a dark glass spray bottle. And I warm it in bowl of warm/hot faucet water. And as I twist I just keep changing the water in the bowl.

Do you need to wet your hair again each time you retwist it and add product? Currently using Shea Moisture products BUT I really don't know what is the best to get a great twist out.

Nice video. But keep in mind, all hair texture is not the same, even 4c. Low porosity hair does not absorb products on dripping wet hair, but on damp hair . So your message might be a little bit misleading for those still starting out in their hair journey
