@Matthias Bond Not hard at all. Just go to any airport and you'll find flight schools and/or flying clubs. I'm with "Pacific Coast Flyers" - a flying club out of Palomar Airport (KCRQ) - I rent the plane and hire the instructor through the club. Of course - it doesn't hurt to get online and check reviews....

I feel like this is supposed to be a satire, but I follow his exact same procedure to fly my airplane. The only difference is I fly a V tail bonanza so all of the control inputs have to be adjusted 45 degrees.

Try the Cessna 172 next time. You might have better luck. I mostly taught myself to fly using that aircraft. When I first got in behind the controls of a real aircraft, the only thing I really had to learn was to be gentle with the controls. And the other thing though they can get people is fear. I’ve never suffered from that, people do. It’s fair that gets you killed.

@@justaweeb9086 well, that’s the thing. Actually flying is simple enough. Most of your flying lessons involve learning not to panic and learning procedures. Flying in and of itself is actually quite simple. Although I don’t think you can learn in five minutes, and I appreciated the jokes. I reckon you could probably just about teach someone how to fly maybe in an hour. If the winds were completely calm and they were in an airport with no tower.

@@justaweeb9086 I taught myself how to fly on Microsoft flight simulator X. And when I moved to real flying, it was very easy to transition. As a blind pilot, I always had somebody sitting next to me. For that person, very rarely had to touch the controls on my first flight. And after that, they just put their feet up, and tell me which way to go, and I flew.

Can you convert it to run on Propane? Then you could just pump the entire cockpit full of extra fuel so you may only have to stop once to refill. I'd go with in a heartbeat! Keep us posted on how this works out.

I respect guys like this, theres a ton of people who arnt fortunate enough, to be able to fly a plane, because they cant take classes, cause of money, or some have family members, or friends who own planes and can teach them, or in some cases classes are too hard to follow cause people have learning disabilities, and the way some classes are taught makes people anxious and overwhelmed, this guy makes it possible for people who may not necessarily care if they ever fly plane, or get to fly a plane, but just want to just be able to say they know how to fly a plane, they can fly a plane anytime they want if and when they wanted to without all the protocal bull and the fortunate luxury others have that they dont, guys like this come out, and give those less fortunate the ability to feel like a winner, and learn something, and be able to say i learned, know how to, and can do this thanks to this man for being cool, and showing, and teaching this.

You need a pilots license to fly a plane...i have a drivers license, so, make the car fly!) The best flight training I have received. Thank you! The cliffs notes version is perfect for me, i never was a good student, just get me in the air and I will figure it out! (If it has an engine, i want to drive it. I don't want to actually learn how to fly a plane, I want to know the basic theory in case a pilot can't for any reason. I want to be able to take over and at least give myself a shot at surviving instead of watching my life end. And I think this video plus some accurate flight simulator games are enough to teach the basic theory, although not enough to actually teach you how to fly. Perfect! Thanks

When you are rockin out with the tunes on your headset, listening to Little John / Cher (on days they are working the tower), if the autotune needs adjusting, move the blue knob to adjust the pitch.

You didn't mention why you need all of those clocks on your dashboard. Or how to read them in case you need to get home in time for supper. No two look alike.

...it's for different time zones...no need to reset, which you'd have to do w/ only one clock.

the clocks says just how you you've been flying, how long your flight will be, when you will crash, and when help will arrive, and that is all, easy, now you will pass your instrument rating, good luck. LOL
