Easiest way to find the island from the starting location, then head SE across the water, seems to be closest point. All i did was put on fastest wheels, with limited amount of parts, hook up turbo parts, then add 1-2 med thrusters to rear and ad recycles to ever connection I can then skim the water, carry parts on ya to build base and change to an attack vehicle.

This game is a Kerbal Engineer's dream... needs more bigger boosters! TIP... your center of thrust needs to pass through your center of mass to even have a chance at stable flight.

Yeah, I get I pretty stable in tye video. Although it would be nice to have custom thrust controls and key binds. 😊👍

Don't worry too much about what people say in the comments. I think your doing a great job. I love your videos. Keep up the good work. Personally I wouldn't have had the reverse thrust and would have had left and right thrust but completely up to you, keep whatever your comfortable with.

Tbh u could have done it a whole lot better 4thruster for main lift , pitch and roll by switching the right one off and 2 thrusters for yaw in both directions facing opposite direction Fighting the enemy in the air was really epic. I love to see more of that.a question is it possible to launch a missile with a upside down missile launcher directly down at the ground while flying?

Yeah I'll try and see if there is a way to combat from the air. Using the rocket are hard because you have to aim at the same time.

Now you know why they have an altimeter....now to go to the ends of the 3 biomes you can see and find the other half of the planet. You could also grab enough for a forward landing base and silos, shuttle fuel forward. You can carry 1500, but exploring only really used 500 if you are not sightseeing, so put 3000 in a forward base for the other hemisphere

Sadly those Artillery Weapon mounts only give their bonus when you're stationary. I can't hardly get them to work, especially with the recent recoil changes. Not really worth using anyway, much better to just attach multiples of the smaller mounts if your weapon has multiple attachment points. I used the large cargos to give a +3 - a later design I made brought it to a +9 recycle, but the added weight made the efficiency gains kinda small :c I built a base on that remote island, one of my vids shows how to find it. It's pretty much a big blue mushroom biome. Plenty of chlorine to mine, thankfully taking some of the cost down eheh.

Yeah I realized that later... I keep forgetting those mounts only work when sitting still. But I wonder, since im not driving then maybe it thinks I'm sitting still. 🤷‍♂️ I'll do more experimenting. To see if the other blocks work better.

Forward and backwards boosters should be front left backwards front right forwards back right backwards back left forwards wheels makes it hard when taking off because of suspension so off mass makes u take off angled I use armor blocks as landing gear and flat ground for perfect level flight half the planet is straight water
