I have a MINK machine to do this technique, it works, but it doesn't give you a high-end quality, it feels, and looks home made.

Try different brand sometimes the foil is the problem I tried 3 different brands before I achieved the look that I want

Great Video - Beware if using clear labels...the thermal laminator only works for Online labels sticker paper to my knowledge (I learnt this the hard way and it melted my Premium Labels stickers and fused them to the paper covering the foil (even on the cold setting) ;-)

How is it sticking if it was only reg printer paper? Or was it sticker paper? Did I miss something?

The reactive foil sticks to the printer toner - on either paper or sticker paper .

Hi Mary, yes you need a laser printer. It will not work with inkjet.

You need to use a laser printer because if you use ink jet the the ink will smear
