I've tried the first 2 techniques before with varied results, but I'm intrigued to give the texture paste technique a try. Thanks so much for the demonstration.

I get the varied results part. Did you try with the Minc Toner Ink?
@MonicaGarcia-fq1kr3 жыл бұрын
I’d really like to try the Texture Paste technique. That’s my favorite so far. I bought these acetate sheets for shaker cards, but I’m excited to use them in different ways. Thank you 😊

I love hearing that. I hope you do! Or what about combining a shaker card and one of these techniques?

Hi Jamie, Could you please share which brand and model laser printer you use? Are you happy with it for crafting needs? Thank you!

Ha ha! I hear that a lot. Maybe I should sell jewelry! LOL. It was a gift from a friend. Probably found at TJMaxx. You know those shoppers that find all the great stuff, but you feel like you never can? Yeah. I'm the one that can't. She's the one that can. Sorry. That's all I got for ya.

I do not have a minc machine. Can a laminator be used for foiling on your acetate?
@JamiePate3 жыл бұрын
A laminator can be used. Sometimes the results can vary. The Minc applies heat evenly across the entire project. Have you used a laminator with Minc foil before?
@shirleydesrochers33193 жыл бұрын
@@JamiePate I have not used minc foil.

Hi Jamie, I’d love to know how you did the paint brush stroke with the texture paste. And I do realize that this might be the stupidest question depending on the answer 😅

She said it was a stencil, she did it the same way she did the polka dots in this video, just using a different stencil.

Hi! How is the resistance of the acetate on laser print? Does it not melt away? I am afraid of that. Thanks
@scrapbook2 жыл бұрын
Hi Deborah! Each acetate sheet packet will be different but if they are heat resistant on the description you should not have any issues! 💗

@@scrapbook thank you for your reply I am trying to foil on translucent sheets and it is working but I am having difficulty :( I am just using a laminator at the moment as it's all I have What if I only want to foil certain words on the invitation how do I do this. I have tried cutting out foil just for the main words in the heading but leaves alot of splattered foil around and outlines of where the foil was. Please help im in the middle of making my wedding invitations and have been going by your video :( Thank you

I have seen a video that put straps of paper on the place they don’t want to be foiled to prevent foil from sticking to it
