a few tips that may help! if you wanted to try - you could use kitchen baking paper (or parchment paper i believe) as a sort of 'folder' to hold everything. i use this as it holds things in place better for me - just as your video tho the crease goes in the front and goes in first when feeding it through the laminator! if you are finding issues with the foil try a few different things to get your right settings. pressure and heat vary between lamintors - you can use thicker paper for your 'folder' if that works better. another hint - you can use these techniques on transparent sticker paper and waterslide paper as well! just make sure that the stock of the sticker/waterslide paper is meant for INKJET - reason being that if you buy the ones for LASER then it comes with a coating that helps the toner 'stick' to the slick surface. this coating means that your foil will also stick (bond) allll over and ruin it! ---but! if you print with laser, onto inkjet sticker paper / waterslide paper you can (carefully) foil the sheet with no issues hopefully! (on waterslide you can also scratch off the excess if there is a bit of flaking and the foil sticks to specs of toner!) hope that helps someone! great video (love the accent!)

@@behindmyart the foiling technique won't work with inkjet printers unfortunately. the video explains that the foil needs to bond with the toner from the laser printer - it can't bond with ink. you can absolutely print a background in inkjet if you want a bit of a background color or something - but be aware the foil won't stick to it (which if you are clever you can use to your advantage in your design)

oh how i wish i didnt live in the middle of the ocean so i could buy these tools straight away and start experimenting. but alas $160 just for a laminator i dont even wanna see for laser 😭

its cool but do we have to use same ptinters for ink jet and laser?? well im tying to do ink and foil designs but it deosnt match , knowing i leave the regestration marks to cut with my cameo 4
