kazebuchi, how do you deal with inconsistency? One day I was on a winning streak of 6 games, climbed from g2 to p1+some rr. The next day I felt like I was getting one tapped by anything I peeked, leading me to start panic spraying. It felt like I didn’t belong in that elo, which is probably true. But I want to retain how I play on my good days, you know, aim feeling crisp, reacting to everything in time, hands not feeling stiff. I do Valorant RAMP warmup aimlabs by VT minigod (16 mins), woohoojin gold routine (10 mins) and 2 deathmatches before I start. Some days I can tell my aim is off (which is most of the time) just from doing the warm ups, because I can’t improve my score and my aim doesn’t feel snappier as I go further into my warm up routinec. I play 2.5 days a week, that’s all I can manage because of college.

5:36 I've had this happen many times, 1v4, cleared it to a 1v1 and plant is down, I held the angle I knew the enemy was and my teammate told me to heal (I was Sage) and I went for it, and as soon as I did, the enemy popped out and I lost the only advantage I had, they didn't know where I was

I play Overwatch 2. I watch a Coach that had some Quotes to go by in ow. One that always stick out out to me and has helped me think so much differently. And its........"If you lose, it's YOUR fault." Play by this and you'll change and get better for sure.

Everyone bursts and strafes in DM, but in comp, it's a crouch spraying fiesta. Even in higher elos. I am currently diamond and regularly have to queue against Ascendants and it's the same. The most important thing in comp is TTK (time to kill) and crouch spraying will get you kills a lot faster and more consistently than burst and strafing will. The only time you will witness strafing in comp is when it's a long long distance duel.

theres more going on with the solo queue/duo queue argument, ive also heard the argument that duo q is good for gaining ranks in the short term but over long term the difference in skill between your duo makes a weird dynamic where one player will end up scared from fighting cause on average they are a worse player, but the other player will become over aggressive cause they are the better player, you might win like this but it will not make you a better player

So I have been following 8/10 things and first I was iron stuck for 2 acts and than bronze stuck for 1 episodes and than silver stuck for 3 episodes in which I did hit gold and not just gold but g2 and than I just couldn’t climb back to gold for I guess another 1 episode and than after 3 episodes I finally hit gold and started actually fragging in gold I was again stuck but in for 1 episode and than I stopped playing and only played 2-4 games a month and than when I came back I hit plat in one episode. I came back after a year and than climbed out of gold in one episode. So I hope I don’t get stuck in plat for several episodes. I get stuck in these ranks a lot so even after doing this it took me so many godamn episodes to get to plat so in my experience always play with people who also want to rank up as much as u want and always duo/trio the thing is I reached plat by solo queuing and i think I will be trying to reach diamond by solo queuing
@arcetus3 ай бұрын

@kazebuchi10 ай бұрын
Appreciate you, Adam! balance can definitely be hard, what i've found is you have to get rid of some "time thiefs". For instance, I don't watch Netflix at all anymore, but used to love it back in the day. Found out it simply took too much time and that i didn't get anything out of it. The same can be applied to other things like TikTok or Instagram. Enjoy a few things (I still enjoy TikTok) but remove 1 or 2 of the things that take a lot of your free time. A sacrifice definitely worth it, and it doesn't come at the cost of any lower happiness in my opinion. Rather the opposite.
