Beautiful truth. For me, what really worked for me was understanding what Jesus went through. In the garden, before He went to the cross He asked His Father to forgive them because they know not what they do. I had to sit and then walk with that, though for a long time until l grasped the pain, hurt, humiliation, the mockery, that Jesus had to endure for each of us who believes, follows, obeys and knows our Lord Jesus in spirit and truth. He gave His life up and died an inhumane death so that all of us in this whole world can enter into His Kingdom forever and ever. It was by knowing that truth, l then, could let everyone be who they themselves choose to be. My life is not my own, and it is truly the best. All to Jesus, l give praise no matter my circumstances... Shalom

Bless you - this is truth - i can honestly say ive never understood revenge - thank you for your piece on reconciliation - i struggle most with where to draw the line between forgiveness and not putting myself in the same position again - this is where i find ambiguity - at the moment i am avoiding a family member not because i dont forgive her but because i am expecting her to attack me again - and i have no idea how to handle it (to my shame)- i mean i will put my arm around her angry tears like last time - but im struggling to recover -thank you for what you do - you are a blessing

Just sing the Song Amazing Grace. Quietly in our hearts and mind Amazing Grace How sweet thy sound the Saviour saves a wrecked like me! I once was lost but now I’m found was blind but now i see…. Repeat it again n again. When our Good Lord Jesus Christ is hanging nailed in the Cross one of His seven last words is Father Forgive them for they do not know what their doing! Also He preached when someone strikes you on your left cheek turn to her or him the right! We need that Amazing Grace to Forgive someone and ask it humbly from the Good Lord Jesus Christ who grants it Gratuitously! Regardless of our Good works and actions! K

Hi Jen, Forgiveness is tough sometimes. There's a woman in my life who hurt me deeply. She caused a lot of division between my son, and me. I know she isn't sorry. She believes she is the victim. I just can't seem to get past it, but I will try. Thank you!

I have a sister who I can't even talk to and she makes something out of everything and when she is nice she is ready to stab me in the back. I just prayed about it. And now I will wait and see what happens.But with her I think it is spiritual like a clash. I think of what Jesus said They hated me before they hated you and they hated me with out a cause.
