I went back to Kay's testimony. I was out with our dog before bed. I was thinking about your comment. I admit I didn't pray for you and your family. I just did. I just felt like I wanted to connect with you. This is a real subject. What came to me outside was this is hard and lonely. You want to share your thoughts. What your prayers are, the word. A verse that you want to share, especially with your spouse. Your faith in God that your family will be saved. I just wanted to send you a note to let you know I have prayed. Big hug. ❤️ peace be with you. Kay is so honest it gives me peace and hope.

What a Beautiful women you are. To hear your Testimony made my heart feel so full for. It's such a gift for a person when they finally realize our God IS REAL. my husband passed 2 months ago and I could feel Jesus in his hospital room as my husband was leaving to go with Jesus. I felt so close to Jesus that night and I felt so blessed I Knew where my husband was going. GOD Bless you.

this is the most relatable testimony i’ve heard. it is awesome to hear people’s lives actually being CHANGED, not just lukewarm. you explained it perfectly: everything felt so easy to quit and change because it wasn’t you doing it, it was the Holy Spirit in us changing us from the inside out. keep doing what you’re doing ❤

Thank you for sharing this. There are many similarities in our struggles as we moved from lukewarm to on fire. The chains. I always felt that too. Anxiety, fear... hating my body. All of it. Now Jesus is my best friend!

A beautiful testimony, Kay. Really honest. I nearly went to a catholic mass this morning 🌄 but I saw the snow outside and instead I chose not to go. I feel that December is the obvious time to attend church, but I need that final push through the doors of my local Catholic church. I hope you have the best week. 🙏

Praise God, Kay! Isn’t our Father so good?! He changes us from the inside out, and all we have to do is seek Him. I’ve been a Christian for two decades now, and have had my share of ups and downs in my walk with my Abba. I encourage you to check out Living Waters Ray Comfort, he very easily breaks down the gospel, and it’s been such a help to me sharing my faith with others. He also shows that it’s actually ‘dumb’ not to believe in God. If you see a car, you KNOW there is a manufacturer. If you see a painting, you KNOW there is a painter. When you see creation, that is EVIDENCE there is a Creator. It is foolish and dumb to believe everything was created by a nothing heat bang. It is foolish and dumb to believe that that explosive nothing heat bang ballooned our universe outwards faster than the speed of light before coming to a sudden end. It is foolishness and dumb to think a primordial slug fish grew legs and found its way onto land. And not only did one primordial slug fish with legs find its way onto shore, but two of them did, both accidentally yet perfectly evolved to mate, and from them allllll life began. Since when did ANY explosion create life and order??? It causes the exact opposite ! And since when did one species create an entirely different species?? It’s been completely unobservable, yet the atheist would rather cling to that then admit what he sees with his own eyes: “For what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” Romans 1:19,20. I also encourage you to check out Grace to You John MacArthur. He is a pastor (if you didn’t know) and he has a lot of sermons and books that are so helpful. He is all about coming out of the lukewarm state, which honestly has over taken the modern church. I watched the church I went to for twelve years fall away, and it was so devastating. My husband and I brought our concerns to the pastor and he didn’t want to hear it, told us to take our concerns to one of the elders with a formal letter. Like, what?! He also admitted to wanting to see ‘the numbers’ grow. I think that was the true downfall, most people want the watered down church, so they can cling to the party and this world AND have God. It doesn’t work like that, for the true born again Christian. Anyways, thank you for sharing your testimony. Praying for you and your fiancee! May you continue to grow in the grace and peace of our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

That is exactly what I experienced, I just spent time seeking Him and reading His word and he completely did the rest! ❤️ Thanks so much for sharing those resources with me. I will definitely check them out for some help in sharing my faith with others and answering their questions! I definitely agree with Romans 1:19-20. It used to be a very convicting verse for me because I liked to think that wasn't true and that people who weren't believers just hadn't had their chance but the more I grow in my faith and see the world around me for what it is, I realize there is evidence of His workmanship all around us. And a big part of why I want to be on KZbin sharing all of this is to hopefully inspire some people out of that lukewarm era!
