I know, it bothered me very much that other tutorial don't explain it because it makes lot's of difference when publishing your book with proper formatting. Took me lot of time to film but I am glad it's helpful to other people 😊

This is by far the best video regarding this subject. Margins are what really make or break most of us, and this video makes the concept very comprehensive. I have struggled with providing KDP with the correct dimensions, and after 4 days, I've found this video. I don't normally leave such lengthy comments, but this tutorial has helped a lot.

I'm in agreement with Fuzzy Rant, whereas there is all of those other individuals on KZbin that give you instructions on the same subject, but is not able to do it as you have. Absolutely the best explantion on KZbin regarding the bloody margins! I wish you could do another one on creating a cover. I'm still confused with the measurements for making the cover template for 6x9 (with bleed) book. Should it be 6.125x9.25 or 6x9 if the cover is with bleed too...really confusing. Thanks a lot for this tutorial anyway:-))

Thank you. The cover measurements depends on how many pages your interior have. Since the thicker your book is, the larger the spine will be. I've explained this in my "How to create composition books for KDP" video and I show also where you can download cover templates for free with the right measurements 😉
