My family visited the fossil park a while back and absolutely loved it! I am so thrilled to find out about the different access points because I would like to visit again but the stairs of death were so challenging for me to get back up!

I know this is dated, but have other access points also been affected by the new Project? Always fun to what y'all share next. And yep I've been to the older park and the new temporary park thingy.

They haven't. The other access points are still available currently.

In looking for the book, I stumbled on the fact that this area in Ladonia will be covered by a new lake being built.

You are correct. Lake Ralph Hall is currently under construction

Great video. I don't live near the NSR, I make an an once a year trip there. I tried to access the NETT location once about three years back. Tried to access via 32 and 3280, but in both instances ran up against locked gates... and being Texas with their trespassing laws... did not want to risk it. 3280 surprised me to see it locked right across the NETT path. That should not have been I felt. Has this changed since then?
@TheAdventurousCouple3 жыл бұрын
We also ran across a locked gate however since it's the NETT and a public trail I walked through and didn't encounter any problems

I haven't been there in years.

Do you know if the jeep trail across from the original fossil park is still accessible?
@TheAdventurousCouple Жыл бұрын
I don't think it is.

Nice job! BTW, you forgot to mention the numerous sasquatch sightings and alien abductions that have occurred near the 904 bridge. Of course, that has "statistical cluttering" written all over it. Now, the wild hogs with the taste for human flesh, that's another matter . . . . ;-)

@@TheAdventurousCouple And I'm pretty sure I saw a cottonheaded rattle-cobra down there the other day. Not that I would try to discourage anyone, of course!! :-D
