Is it possible to join beams at a 90 deg angle over a common post? Looking through the bracket options available, this doesn't seem like this is an option, although I can see several photographs of this happening in the example framing. Also, I need to change joist directions in the center of my deck due to a cantilevered bay window/sliding door, as you should almost never attach a deck directly to a cantilever, and in this case it would be a bad idea to use the S channel joist hanger. I need to have beams on either side of this which somehow need to connect to the foundation. Is there a way to connect beams to the foundation with hangers into the concrete or is it allowed to just cut a notch into the joist band and insert them directly on top of the bottom pressure treated plate of the house? I also need to build around a basement window, and obviously cannot have joists running over top of this area. Beam connections to the house would help immensely with this problem, but I don't see how I can pull it off with what is provided.

nah, those are through bolts... not lag bolts.

Pretty much all the Videos from fortress are crap with no insight on there products. No contact with the vendor and no product knowledge. Oh and on top of that you don’t even get your order. Parts and pieces at a time. Remember you put your order through a vender like Hom Depot or lowes and to get help sucks so bad you will be on the phone for weeks to resolve your issues. They also do it on a PO system.
