I did the mortise's on the bottom plate so it would sit flush on top of your mud sill, there shoudld never be a reason that iw oudl have to acces the nuts later, in fact after sheet rock is installed you shoudl not be able to get to them anyway.

Got to love when the manufacturers started offering longer sheets of ply and osb as well as drywall/plaster/gypsum/gyprock

3:30 I know if I keep on watching, the video will probably answer my question. The gap at the top of the wall. Not enough OSB to cover it on purpose? I ran into the same issue and I left it that way.It just has house wrap on it. It did make it harder when putting siding on later for me. I'm interested to see what you do with that gap.

redmoonhbk1984 that is a sheeting/ siding nailer not a roofing nailer, it uses up to 3 1/4” nails
