I like Sho's technique much more, he does it so matter-of-factly and without the exaggerated trajectory of the main rider. Sho's approach is possible at higher speeds, can't say that about this turn 1:56 unless it's a demonstration turn.

Goofy means the opposite of standard of riding, where regular/standard you start with left foot in the front, while goofy is right foot in front.

I think I need to maybe get good at starting from a standstill on my bad side... i have a similar problem, i can do the turn but its so hard to keep it going...

the skates stop and you have to actually push into em to get yourself goin again, it's a real quick stop go

I've been trying to do this move forever. I can do the 180, but it seems like I just get stalled and fall off the skates rather than the skates keep moving forward after I switcharoo. anyone got tips for practicing this? I've been practicing goofy too, but that's also not working out very well.

I ride goofy footed. I'm so scared to rotate that I practice going around in circles against the wall so I can get used to the motion haha.

what i don't like about the model is that it shows how to turn and then shows like a straight line... it doesn't really work that way or rather that is how to do the 180 but not how to do the 180 and then keep moving
