How to Freeze Rows in Excel

Freeze rows in Excel to hold the rows in place while scrolling through the spreadsheet. You can do this by navigating to the View tab and selecitng the Freeze Panes button. The button will drop down and select Freeze Panes, Freeze top row, or Freeze first column. This method works in Microsoft Excel 365, 2021, 2019, 2016 and 2013.
