That was my only complaint about the video. He did such a great job taking his time and showing/talking us through his hair braiding tutorial but then at the end he doesn't show us how to end the braid. I just put a small hair rubber band around it a bunch of times. But would have been nice to see a professional do it and share any tips they might have in how to finish it at the end.

Glad I’m not the only one here to step up their hair game for their babies. I can regular braid no problem. Learned that in Boy Scouts many many moons ago. Doing it with hair is the same as doing it with rope. But I’ve never known how to French braid and finally KZbind it. This is the first video listed and sir, you’re a great teacher. Now I can’t wait to try it on my 3 year old. Thank you, sir.

You are a Fantastic Teacher! No woman in my family can braid hair-3 generations. Thanks to your excellent instruction I was able to pick it up in just 2 tries. Recovering from breast cancer loosing all my hair to chemo; I wanted a heatless hairdo with waves. I can’t “Thank You” enough! God Bless!❤️🙏❤️

I've been doing just plain braids in my hair all since I was a teenager but I cannot get the hang of French, Dutch, Fishtail etc. I'm practicing but I usually end up in tears because it's so frustrating !

@GetGlamFam I have been braiding my kids' and my husband's hair for years. 21 years, actually, and your tutorials are the best I have seen in the years of searching for braiding tutorials to improve myself. My braiding has literally improved immediately because of your explanations throughout your videos. Before, I was "Okay" with the outcome of the looks, but now I am extremely happy. I even feel more confident when braiding someone other than my kids' and husband's hair. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us 💙

I have 2 videos on that, go to the KZbin search bar and type in “GlamFam nails” and they’ll pop right up for you.

Why was I thinking this was a re-upload? Lawd this cold got me buggin! As a person who naturally braids over handed this is informative. Thank you. 😁

My joy! I have an older video on KZbin for French braiding, but it doesn’t break it down like this one, the lighting isn’t as good, and I used horrible background music! 😂 It’s cringey to watch now! So I decided to update. 😊👍🏽

You’re a great teacher. I tend to want to start over when I mess up. I teach drums and in music you can’t fix mistakes because something else is coming next. You can only focus on what’s next. You make fewer mistakes the more you practice. So there you have it: braiding hair is like music- keep going if you make a mistake or miss a strand

I’m 33 years old and it has been so frustrating to learn how to French braid! Now with a 5 year old it’s been on my bucket list and thanks to this video I was able to finally braid her hair. Thank you.

I finally can comprehend how to braid under after years of experienced braiders trying to teach me. This was the most simplistic and beautiful way to describe this. I did it last night on my 14 year old. I've got to get used to talking to myself. Lol but it works

Awesome video…so easy to understand for a gal who is all fingers and no grace with braiding. Your voice is so gentle and uplifting, too. My daughter has thick wavy hair-it’s like working with a dense forest-I get lost in there trying to braid and this helped so much. Thank you!
