How to french headlights

To prevent warping could you TIG weld it instead and weld it out or would Mig welding it be the best way?

Yes but everyone doesn't have a tight welder including myself at the time. Even the tig can warp metal.

Sure do... i found it difficult so I recorded it. It was way different from the directions. Give me a couple days and I'll put it together.

Nice job my man , is that bucket u use to french your headlamp is that part of the Hagan headlamp kit they have , it looks pretty much the same. That's the kit i'm going to use on my 52 GMC pickup.

I dont know if the owner of the truck got it as a kit like that but, I have another video showing me installing the actual headlights and trim ring bezels so you can compare them.

Where did you get the cups that you welded in and what type of tool was that which you put inside the bucket as you were welding? Thanks

kgard43 I think the owner of the truck got the French headlight kit off of eBay. The tool I used was an angle finder, you can get from summit racing.
