To anyone struggling to disconnect the water lines: What you want to do is ***push the white ring up against the blue plastic***, and then pull the lines out. He's using the little wrench to press up the white ring.

is there a way to replace the nozzle part? the little elongated plastic part that goes into the ports? that's where mine snapped

my ice maker works, the water dispensor is used a lot and started dribbling, but if you tap it just right, it stops. My concern is leaking onto the floor from freezer, and sheet of ice forming in bottom of freezer. I was chasing the coil heater, but you mention some of my symptoms here. I don't want to throw parts at it.

I ordered a part from you guys and it’s one inlet short. There is 4 and it should be 5. So I have an extra line. That’s fine as I don’t care if I can get water from my fridge, I just need ice. Which color is for ice? Blue? Green?

Is it possible to attach the electrical connections to the valve upside down? The order of the colored wires on my water valve is opposite of what I see in your video. Does it make a difference? How do you know the correct way?

You will need to make sure the water line is seated properly. If you had to cut the water line, you need to make sure it's cut straight and you would just push it into the valve straight to seat it properly.

If your unit has retaining clips on the hoses, then those need to be installed as well.

Does the door still give water?

There is a switch inside the freezer that can turn the icemaker off ... double check that. It is NOT the same as the lever that stops the icemaker when the bin fills up, it's an electric rocker switch. Also, make sure that wire lever thing is not stuck in the "full"

I had a mouse chew up my wires. I manage to splice the water dispenser wires together, but not the ice maker. I’m pretty sure the one with the green water line is for the ice maker. I would like to be sure though. Then test for power.

I have a Electrolux refrigerator and I just got the water and ice connected and the ice won't fill what is wrong

You will need to first make sure the water is turned on to the unit. If that is good, the unit will need to be plugged in for 24 hours to get down to the proper temperature. Then the ice maker should cycle and fill with water to make ice. If you have any more issues you can contact us at 1-877-477-7278.

Hello there. I get water from water dispenser. I also get water from ice maker when i did diagnostic, but the water seems too less. could this be the problem with water inlet valve? thanks.

If water is only filling the ice maker when you run the diagnostics, then you would need to replace the ice maker. If you aren't getting a lot of water coming into the ice maker, then you will need to check the tube to make sure you don't have a blockage in the tubing. If the tubing is clear then you would need to replace the water valve.

Another issue could be the water filter. The filter accumulates particulates over time which make water flow through the filter slower. I understand that other users have seen an increase in water flow speed after changing the filter.
