I am so thankful to be back it was really hard to not having a device to film these for so long.

The secret to these for me is to turn my hips frontside as much as possible, parallel to the coping. Unlike the backside, where it is all in the shoulders. Of course, I twist my arms and shoulders fronside as you mentioned, but without having my hips parallel to the coping, I can't get these around. I also like to try and sit on my back heel while boning out my front leg. Duane Peters style!!!
@trogarmy2 жыл бұрын
I get what you are saying almost getting into a feeble backside right. I love the DP sink back style as well. great tip as well here for all the people trying to learn!!

Gidday Trog Army, great to see a new vid out. I've never done FS rock above 6Ft ramp/bowl and always ran it out when bailing (once didn't get my back foot off and slammed BAD). I'll try your much safer knee sliding bail pattern, and then might feel confident about taking on bigger transition. Thanks from NZL.
@trogarmy2 жыл бұрын
I have rooked my ankle bad by not leaning back into transition on this trick as well. however as I have said sometimes we have to take the hard way to get to the easy way. Now that I have these bail out patterns it just makes the injury rate go way down. THanks for watching more videos to come!

Great to see more "low quality video, high quality content!" from your channel (the video quality is not bad!). I was 55 last month and landed my ever first front side axle stall because of your video. "Keep low" and "Spot your landing". Two bits of essential advice. Keep the videos coming, the fs axle is not the only one which has gotten me over the line, just the most recent. Thanks from Spain!

It is great to see you back! I hope everything's good in your life. Keep making videos like this and your channel could be huge - don't doubt it. Many of your tutorials are the best on KZbin, I'm sure a lot of people would agree, and I've seen A LOT of tutorials! Just keep doing what you are doing.

Great tips! My 43yr old tooter is gunna try and roll away from this trick b4 the end of the week... Hey can I ask what the transition radius is on that mini ramp? I wanna build a mellow one like that for me and my son! Thnx for great instruction.
@trogarmy2 жыл бұрын
7.5' radius 2'8" tall 10' flat bottom A spectacular ramp for learning. 6.5' will be better for all the blunt stuff or space limitations

I have failed you all in the past on the vert series. I promise to do as much as I can. I may even set one up at my house just for this reason. What are your specs of the one you ride? and Where?
@rinsedout12 жыл бұрын
@@trogarmy Its a big one. 13.5 feet 11.5 transition. A skate park in Mississauga Ontario. CJ's skate park. Keep ramming it.

How hard are your wheels. They seem to slide easy. I have no slide on mine at all they are 86a. Great videos by the way.
@patximendizabal51502 жыл бұрын
If you want to slide well, you should go for a 97A or harder. 86A are very soft.
@trogarmy2 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah those will be mega grippy. On outdoor skate surfaces I prefer Bones SPF 84b's which are a 104 duro. Indoor Batltic birch or Masonite Hardboard I prefer Bones SPF 81b's which are a 101 Duro. 86a's are great for rough ditch riding and sketchy spots I definetly own some rough rider wheels for that type of terrain. Choose the right wheel for the certain terrain. I feel skaters need to really own 3-4 sets off wheel and bearings. thats a different video though.
@matthewhunt60842 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the replys guys guess I'm buying some new wheels
