Here's a breadening tip: after you coat your meat or whatever you plan to fry, shake off excess and let it rest on a dry rack for 15-20 minutes so the flour or flour mixture will ADHERE better and it won't dirty the oil as your food cooks. This step does work. Please try it, Danni.

The reason why they're so good is Publix makes everything fresh daily. I used to hate throwing out all the in sold deli and bakery foods , nightly. Whatever wasn't sold we had to get rid of and make again the next day. We then started eating it all when we closed because we hated the waste , but for customers everything was made fresh daily.
