Hey Michael great question. What I do is take half of my profits put it in a separate account and the other half to my printful wallet to cover orders. Thank you for taking the time to comment. To start off it’s recommended to have funds in your Printful wallet to cover orders in the beginning. Look at it as a upfront investment. Shopify holds funds in the beginning but after some orders those payments will clear and you can reinvest back into your printful wallet for orders and you can diversify your profits to other accounts if you like. After you start getting orders it’ll turn into a snowball effect. It’s a business and you will be highly profitable at the end if your consistent with adding new designs on products along with marketing your business. Quick question as shown for manual fulfillment is that due to having print companies not being able to capture the funds from each other, so while Shopify sends you your money from the order, you make you customers wait until you can actually have the funds to fulfill them

Hey Chris thank you for taking the time to comment. Manual fulfillment is pretty much having full control from acknowledging there’s an order to the fulfillment process. With automatic and manual fulfillment I highly recommend you have invested funds into your printful wallet to cover orders customers make. It’s overall good business practice. Having customers wait longer for funds to clear to process their order is a way to lose business, refund issues, etc. Having funds into the printful wallet makes the process easy when a customer places their order. Printful will charge your wallet for the order and when the held funds clear you can either reinvest profits into your wallet or into a separate account. I recommend 50/50 half back into the wallet and half into a business account.

Shopify tends to hold funds for like 48 hours or so not sure on the exact time but it is recommended to have funds available in your Printful wallet to cover orders and once Shopify releases the funds you will have access to the payment the customer paid. Hello my friend you would need to add money to your Printful Wallet to cover orders in your store. In the beginning Shopify holds payments customers make so to ensure customers get what they paid for you would need to fund your printful wallet to cover those orders. I only recommend that in the beginning bro so your customers can get what they paid for in a timely manner Shopify does it's thing holding payments. Once your payments start clearing you can take your profits and put them in another account and transfer the remaining into your printful wallet 50/50. Hey my friend when you start off it’s recommended to add funds to your Printful wallet to cover orders your customers make. Shopify tends to hold payments for up to 48 hours or so. Great question @slimdinero the process in the beginning does require an investment upfront. The process goes like this: In the backend of Printful they have what its called a Printful wallet. You load funds in there to cover orders customers make. When a customer makes a purchase on your website Shopify tends to hold the payment for some days before releasing the funds to you. I recommend loading funds in your Printful wallet, that way Printful will charge your wallet to cover those orders and that way you dont have your customers waiting. Once Shopify releases those funds the customers paid you can transfer money back into your Printful wallet and into a separate account. The separate account could be your profits and the other funds could be to cover future orders. Before you know it, it'll snowball. It's all about reinvesting back into your business. With great marketing and unique products you can make some really good money using both Shopify and Printful. Great question btw.

Great question! That’s the beauty of print on demand you do not need any inventory. Printful has all the inventory. You just put your design on the product, market, and Cha Ching. Printful will get notified once there’s an order in your store and they print, pack, and ship to your customer. Here’s something to note. In the beginning it’s good to have money in your printful wallet to cover orders in your store. Shopify releases payments after 48 hrs or sooner. But it’s good to have money in there to cover those orders up front and once your business is in full motion those payments customers made you will eventually use to cover your future orders. It’s a business! It’s all about getting that snowball rolling. Hopefully that helped. Great question by the way. Hey great question! When a customer pays for the item Shopify tends to hold the funds for some days. Its recommended to have upfront capital in your Printful Wallet to cover those orders customers place. Once Shopify releases the funds you can reinvest funds back into your Printful Wallet and put your profits in a separate account. Trust I wish we wouldn’t have to do that as well but it’s a security measure they take. After while doing it like that it’ll turn into a snowball effect. And bam 💥 your business will boom. Building capital is key in the beginning.

I say after 4 days if it is still in progress contact support. Processing usually take some days, just give it a little it should fulfill just fine.

The manual order option on Printful typically allows you to place orders manually rather than automatically fulfilling them through a connected ecommerce platform. However, if you don't have funds in your Printful wallet or your bank account, you cannot use the customer's payment to directly pay for the order at the time it is made, as there is typically a payment processing delay before you receive the customer's money. You would need to wait until the funds from the customer's payment are processed and available to you before you can use them to pay for the order on Printful. It is good practice if using Printful to have funds added to the printful wallet to cover such orders that way there isnt a delay in the customers order.

Hey Apollo thanks for your comment. Correct it’s ultimately recommended and good practice that if you want to run a successful pod business to process orders as they come in. Having funds in your Printful wallet will ensure that transaction goes through smoothly. Shopify holds payments and to avoid customers waiting doing it that way is the ultimate way.

Can you Help me pls... A customer odered a t-shirt for $40,46 USD he paid also the Shipping and VAT but when i go to Printfull its says that i have to pay the shipping and the vat/tax too, whyyyyy?? The t-shirt it self cost $22,90 and my profit is $12,10. But would my profit be then only 8$? 22,90 + 8 / 40,46 $. Should we not just pay $22,90?

I’m sorry to hear about that. Quick question did you have funds in your printful wallet to cover the orders? Shopify tends to hold payments in the beginning. So the orders customers pay those funds are on hold until like 48 hours or so but if you have funds in your printful wallet those orders should be fulfilled. Hopefully that helps I know a lot of people struggle with that in the beginning including myself. If that didn’t help let me know I will try and find the answer for you.

Hey @tgroovy thank you for your question so when someone makes a purchase and pays your set retail price and shipping. Printful charges you for fulfillment, shipping, and applicable taxes. You set your own retail prices for every product, so you know in advance how much you'll make from each sale. You would need money upfront in your printful wallet to fulfill those orders. It’s like a snowball your profits will rack. Once it starts racking put some of that money in your wallet. Payments customers make take approximately 24-72 hours to hit your bank account.

Correct you would need to have money up front to fulfill these orders and once the funds clear from your customers payment you get that money back with your set profit. What i recommend is having money in your printful wallet to cover payments upfront. Something to note my friend the money from your customers goes directly to you, not to your supplier. To get products to sell, you need to pay your supplier upfront. It's the same scenario with Printful. If you need additional help bro let me know I got you.

@@IamVictorious23 great question!When manual payment capture is enabled, customers that pay with credit cards and some additional payment methods are not automatically charged at the time of sale. To get paid, you need to capture payment manually within the authorization period.

How’s it going @j3susvallarta yes you will make a profit my friend. Just keep in mind when your pricing your product do you want to include the shipping in your price so that it shows “free shipping.” That’s something you have to factor in brother.

How’s it going @fyedesignz great question. When you mark an item or order as fulfilled from your Shopify admin, the fulfillment service is sent an email with the information they need to fulfill the order for you. If you fulfill orders manually, then you need to open the order and mark the order or item as fulfilled.

Absolutely you can integrate it as normal. And which ever products you sell physically you can manually add those products to your Shopify website. Any orders you get from customers for your physical products will only be fulfilled by you.

Hey thanks for the comment and question. When your starting out it’s good to add funds into your Printful wallet to cover orders customers make. I’m the beginning Shopify tends to hold payments customers make for up to 48 hours or so.
