The event itself is free but the research isn’t. Go fest is always free the ticket just enhances the experience. You can still raid and all that and do fusions so if that’s what you mainly want then your good.

I don’t know if it’s gives you encounters with them but you do need the ticket for the research if they do give them to you so just know it’s not confirmed to my knowledge and I did check the official go fest page
