Then, when he goes through Primal Reversion, he becomes twice as weak to Water, as he gets the Fire typing... So, regardless of which version of them is fighting, I very much doubt it was a stalemate that Rayquaza had to put a stop to.

Yeah, kyogre might be killing groudon. That explains why rayqauza was able to stop 2 legendaries. He was actually just stopping kyogre. Although, groudon is my personal fav b/w him and kyogre

primal groudon has desolate land which negates its water weakness

@@Be0mqyu Assuming both Groudon and Kyogre are able to go into Primal Reversion and fight... Desolate Land overwrites Primordial Sea and vice versa. This means that IF Groudon goes through Primal Reversion in order to negate Water, Kyogre can just go through Primal Reversion, causing Primordial Sea to overwrite Desolate Land, meaning that Fire attacks are negated, but Water is no longer negated. Even if Desolate Land was to overwrite Primordial Sea, Kyogre (ORAS) has better moves then Groudon (ORAS). Kyogre, outside of Water moves has Ice Beam and Body Slam, which both have a 100% accuracy and the possibility of freezing/paralyzing the opponent. They are also not resisted by Groudon, Primal or otherwise. Meanwhile, Groudon, outside of his 1 Fire Move (Lava Plume) which is either resisted or negated, has 3 moves. Rest (Psychic), which is putting himself to sleep, Earthquake (Ground), the only 100% attack he has, and Precipice Blades (Ground) at 85% accuracy. This battle isn't a fair fight. I'm saying this, and of the two, I think Groudon is cooler. It's just they screwed him over.

Primal Groudon has a ability called desolate land which makes any water type attack evaporate and not do anything

@@RequiemUltima22 I brought this up already, and Desolate Land doesn't really help against Kyogre, since Kyogre has Ice Beam and Body Slam, which both have a 100% accuracy and the possibility of freezing/paralyzing the opponent. Oh and Groudon resists neither of them. Even IF Groudon managed to overwrite Kyogre's Primordial Sea with Desolate Land, the only thing that would really stop is stop is Aqua Ring (Which is a healing move), and Origin Pulse (Which is a 85% chance to hit move). For Primal Groudon fighting Primal Kyogre, the best move is Earthquake, since it's a ground type move (not super effective, but at least Kyogre isn't resistant to ground) and it has 100% accuracy. However, the moment Groudon gets hurt enough to use Rest, the fight is won by Kyogre, since it'll give Kyogre free shots at a sleeping Groudon.
