You forgot that fuses come in three different burn speeds. You advice will also not allow simultaneous launching or timed start like every 6 second start a new cake to build up for a finale. Also, twist ties are more reliable then masking tape when properly applied.

I only do 2-3 60 gram canisters at a time but you can easily do a delayed sequence between each set and light all dozen off at once.

I will spend the 4th where I always do and that is in the basement away from the firework. a string of firecrackers sounds exactly like the AK. mortars well if you have ever had rounds reign down on you, you know what I mean.

You obvious have not really been near and AK. They sound nothing alike. I bet you can even tell a Huey from an Apache let alone an AK74 form a AR15, and even Excaliburs are nothing like what you would hear in a firing base.
