KZbin wont let me like this more than 1 time. And I really like it, not quite in a sick deranged way, but close...I have so frustrated with lack of understanding and lack of patience to learn how to use. Thanks.

Great series! I have zero experience overlanding. Question: are there definitions for the road types? What is the terrain expectation of “Minor Roads, etc.?” I have a stock SR5 with highway tires. What rad types can I handle. Planning a trip into WV with my boys (young adults). We will be on our own, so I can’t risk getting stuck. TIA.

The road classifications don't necessarily give you good insight on the actual condition of a road. Sure, you know if it's paved or not but beyond that I don't particularly find it that helpful. For your situation, I suspect that the more helpful thing would be the MVUM and Public Land layers. The MVUM will show you what roads/trails your vehicle can legally be on and the Public Land layer will show you what areas you can be in so that you're not trespassing. As far as road condition and what your vehicle can handle, well, weather can affect that drastically in a short period of time so the only real tool you can rely on is common sense. See some of the other videos in this playlist to get some more ideas kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXe9omeHhNR2l8k

I might sometime this year. Check the (mostly inactive) facebook group (link is in every video description). If I decide on doing one that'll be where I post details.

My struggle is I love using my old ipad pro with cellular data. Even with it plugged into an cigarette lighter charger. Need at least like 6 hours. If Im close to town its pretty good but out in the desert not so much. Any ideas?
