Sorry for the late reply. But to answer your question yes it must be multiple accounts because it should give all access to the account once you have it. So if they own 5 games on that account you get access to all 5.

First congrats on the PS5 👌🏼 Okay so you got a PS5 and it already had an account logged in with games? So you later bought a game on that account being 2k and then you made your own profile but they ended up changing there password and removing there account from that PS5? If so I’m sorry man but you won’t be able to get it back because you got it on there account not yours. Always purchase things on an account you know the password and emails to.

So if you have his account all his current and new digital games will be shared with you and the same for him all your games will be shared to his. So you have your own and his to choose from.
