The ethics of this are really interesting. Force feeding is a controversial subject in humans, but I guess it is with animals as well. Obviously it's oftentimes used in cool ways when people are making specialty food items. Here we see it used in instructive ways to try to treat these animals, although because they can't really consent, it's a dicey situation
