I need some help with my turtle, it is a male red eared slider about 11months old. we got him when he was 3 months old and he came with one eye closed and one swollen', since then he hasnt opened his right eye even after giving him vitamin a and enrofloxacin. I have currently stopped giving him medication

Currently in the situation myself too. But my Vet is gonna try the beads. They have to do additional testing to figure out which one she needs though. I hoping she pulls through! Thanks so much for the demonstration! Really helped me make a decision. And justify the estimation numbers... She's worth it.

If the baby is developed enough then it's a baby but in like the first like 3-4 months, it's not a baby but more like well a clump of cells

The study that discovered that babies cry in the womb found that crying was only observed in babies older than 24 weeks. This is well into the 2nd trimester. The majority of abortions occur during the first trimester, from 0-14 weeks. At this stage the fetus doesn't even have the capabilities to cry, and it more resembles a clump of cells than a living being

This procedure should never be done unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. It is very very very easy to accidentally take off layers of the eye with the shed, even as trained vets. There have been tons of cases where people took their snakes to the vet only for the the vet to have not been careful enough and took off pieces of the eye. Some snakes even have to lose their eye entirely because of it.
