southerngirl. pt hi! that’s exactly what I felt so I bought my first professional hybrid acrylic/gel kit last October. Been doing my own since. I highly recommend Tammy Taylor’s Sculpt kit. She goes step by step on her channel and you will be very happy with the quality of the products. I think my lamp is 84w Joytii and I got it on Amazon. She is a minimalist and tries to do the nails w/o a drill and tons of expensive equipment. My kit is still going strong in terms of the supplies. Wish you all the best! 😊

Nail techs in the US push back cuticles and that’s it. They don’t care like you, love your cuticle care process. Amazing job!

It is actually illegal in some states to cut back the eponychium. The cuticles can be pushed back and removed but some states consider the eponychium living tissue. They got different laws in the uk.

Two things: 1. The thumb nail seems a bit uneven like it's got a dip in the middle 2. Aren't you supposed to keep gel polish layers thin so that they cure properly?

She applied a base coat not a gel color which means she can build the structure of the nail, it works like a structure gel.

Doesn't this sting the client under water I'm her scared to cut cuticle i have learned not to cut it as it is because it is a barrier for bateriera and if u cut it bacteria can get inside much quicker
