I really like and appreciate how you are kind enough to say the work from the nail students is not bad just pointing out things that could be better 💞

I really enjoy those videos. You are incredible at pointing out mistakes in the most valuable way possible. Allowing us to learn, but not mocking the previous tech. I think we need more of this positivity in the world

When I graduated from school for nails it was 1988. We started at the bottom and all we had was white and clear, after a few years the pink came out, but I didnt use it much. If I went back and tried to do nails, I would be lost and overwhelmed with all the new products and applications. BTW, great job reshaping this set.

Watching these videos is such a love/hate relationship. I get so upset because I can never find a nail tech who is so good. I am very particular about cuticle care and honestly would be so happy if I could just find someone who was so good with the detail work.

Very nice , to be honest with the new 3 d smile line and all the fun colours i expect a return of the smile line. Because it's a simple kind of wearable beauty. The long nails with lots of bling are pretty to look at but not wearable if your hands are tools, while with a smile line glitters and other nailart suddenly become wearable

I have NEVER done a sculpted pink/white set - thank goodness! They were out of style by the time I went to school to get licensed. The problem is, I now have clients that ask for them and I have to tell them I don't do them.
@kristinb81724 жыл бұрын
Consider yourself lucky! They can be a nightmare if you don't do them very often. I used to get so much anxiety when my one pink & white client had her appointment. They're fun to practice when you're not stressed out, though.

I am a beginner. What nail products do you recommend? I bought actual gel, but I did get it on my skin and yes, saw lifting. I think I need a drill set and I see how the carbide drill will help with the thickness I have on the sides. Which do you recommend? AND do you like the actual gel or acrylic? I do already have an LED light. I thought I would be better with the gel because getting the proper consistency with acrylic may be problematic, but I may be very wrong. Any suggestions PLEASE.

I think polygel is easier for beginners

There's something I don't understand about many manicure vids (which I love watching and appreciate the artistry of), and would love an honest take on. Between everyone's nail and finger, there is a thin film of skin, called cuticle. For me, it's thin, even and tidy (except if I do too much gardening and it can dry and split). It perfectly seals any gap between the fingernail and the fleshy bit of my finger. When I watch any manicure vid, I wince quite a bit as it shows the cuticle being removed. Usually, its a little drill that is digging around the edge of the nail, and it is often shown going right under the skin, making a big deep channel between the nail and skin proper. In this vid ( and in many others, on other channels), I see what looks to me like a big hole being formed between the two. It just looks wrong, and looks painful (to me). So what's up?
