So I did some testing and it seems that hp of the offering dino doesnt matter. The only thing that mattered was the number of dinos offered. Each dino offered made the effectiveness go up a certain percent no matter that dinos hp whenever the bloodstalker killed it.

Does lvl or HP of the dino matter? cause I got some parasaurs and didn't work... moschops didn't work either

I really think that the bloodstalkers should have a bloodpack making ability once tamed

Does it depend on how many phiomia you offer him, oder does only the HP in general matter? Because we haveassive boosted stats on our server, and my phiomias have roundabout 8-9k life. 😅

You just need to keep checking the % on the tame progression. I believe the more hp the creature has the more the % goes up

This has been driving me nuts. They keep dropping me before I'm reeled all the way in and I couldn't figure out why. Distance, it's as simple as that?

Yes Distance is it, you just need to get close and they will be able to reel you in. They don't do a good job of explaining this to people

Does putting blood packs in the phiomia make them live longer as the blood stalker eats them over the dinos just like a desmodus? Also question does the sanguine elixir give it 30% tamming too?

Wondering if Listro would work if they were leveled into hp. Seems like an easy tame or maybe even parasaur.

Yeah I reckon both of those would work as long as you got at least 1300hp on them it should be fine. I just used phiomia because they have beefy health and I see a lot of people using them

Higher HP doesn't matter, but between 1300-2000hp. How does that make sense?

HP shouldn't make a difference for taming effectiveness but having more health gives you more time for cryo sickness to disappear and to prep for the next one

I beleive that giving it a higher level dino will impact the taming as in it may make it faster

Basically didnt learn nothing new here.There seem to be a difference between tames and maybe also their levels that effect the effectiveness level similar to kibble and other feed you give to tame.Question is which dinos give best taming bonus as similar to kibble. Thats the big question.

From what I understand, as long as your dino has 1200+ health then the taming effectiveness is the same.
