There's a quest for chocobo wiz that let's you add a sandwich to his menu. this sandwich gives you 50% exp boost. Ignus can make a similar sandwich after the party has had this dish. Also, as has been already said. leaving your car in another region let's you teleport out, and if you rested at the nearby camp you can port back to the lair. should speed things up a bit. also, the skills that increase food duration would be helpful for this.

Best way to fight that boss is to warp point to the furthest point away from him then warp strike him. Itll give 3x damage make him vulnerable and knock him over. Just keep doing this.

I fought him accidentally at level 15 I was just running around exploring & fell in there with it, didn't notice that there was a way out, so I just took him on, took a long time & I was nervous asf, but I got it done with what I had to work with lol. -Killshot-8420 😊

Not sure if someone already put this up for options, but you can do this a lil' better. First get a triple decker from Wiz's Outpost for the food buff. It gives xp bonus. If you can't do this, then next best option will be Galdin Quay for the food buff there. Make sure you get the xp bonus food ONLY and then repeat the process. You can instead hold off on the hotel until you feel the need to finally end the grind but you can just repeat this process for bandersnatch.

First off, great video. But there's a few things that can be improved when doing this. First of all, ride a chocobo. You will be able to go back and forth much much faster. Second of all keep doing the quests to upgrade the regalia. Eventually you will get headlights that make it so you can fast travel at night, and you won't get into fights if you aren't fast traveling at night. Last, if you are short on gil and want the xp food, you can sell treasures that give you a ton of gil. Don't sell all of them though because they are used for upgrades. Sell duplicates and leave yourself plenty.

an easy way to turn it from night to day is just talking to the tipster. Go to bounties and accept one that says the monster can only be found during the day and it will ask if you want to wait there for the night, theres hardly any loading time and you aren't resting. Plus you can always cancel the bounty after that instead of doing it.

Just save at the camp in front of the valley where the boss is, reload then the boss will respawn. This is working in PS4. I'm level 50 chapter 1

you can force the rare coin or d coin when you see the blue Shiney treasure spot hover over it save the game pick up the item if it's not a coin load the save data and pick it up again keep doing it till u get a coin. :) you can also get Ultima weapon blade early as chapter 3 to help kill faster :)

just to let you know the expiercast stacks so you can use it multiple times just lower the damage output of your spell, the way i do it is to expcast on with a single fire element as he is ressistant that way i get in the 5 spells then i kill him by the way awesome video very well explained keep up the good work XD

Also, in chapter 3, you can learn a sandwich recipe that gives 50% extra exp which is a lot better than some of the others you come across until the one that gives 100% extra in Altissia. If you're REALLY patient, getting up to 1-2million exp banked would put you near the level cap.

thanks so much for the tip. i did your method and got 45,256 exp on my first run. put a expericast 3 and quadcast 2. and gave ignis a quadcast:thundaga-firaga 214 potency, 4 chain level 95 to do the job. found a better food from travelling to lestallum. got a 30% exp boost from this mother and child rice bowl.

Would you rather suggest this method than cactuar? Im already lvl24 but, i saw the cactuar so i create new save again. Im at chapter1 with 60k exp at the moment. Would you recommend this method than cactuar? since i can farm 1410gil total perday ingame(respawn)hunting other mobs at night. Hmm?

Just for the record! Expiricast magic gives a static amount of exp when you use it in a fight. Also, the potency of the magic damage is irrelevant, you can use a single element energy and 8 rare coins to make a spell with expiricast 96. This will give you the same amount of exp as a spell with 272 potency and expiricast 96; the only difference is it will do less damage. Now, the important distinction is that it doesn't matter what monster you fight. If expcast 96 gives you 20k extra from a Lv. 38 Bandersnatch, it will also give you 96k from a Lv. 2 Sabertusk. So you can simply use the Beast Whistle in a low level area where monsters spawn and use all of your expiricast spells in rapid and easy succession on a bunch of weak mobs, and receive the same amount of exp regardless! Hope this helps

Not positive on respawn timers. If it feels to long, you can also go to the road connecting Wennath Riverhead Parking Spot and The Maidenwater Parking Spot. This is just west of the road I suggest in the video.

Thanks for the tip, but before you did this were you doing cactuar farming as well? What do you think of that EXP trick? I was doing the cactuar farm yesterday afternoon, and I was only able to find 3 of them. To me, that took too long to do, and I was only able to get 30K EXP before Chapter 1 end.

I am not a fan of the cactuar farming method. Between the respawn timer and the luck on just finding one, it feels kind of like a waste of time to me. I have been trying to farm the slactuar (share the same spawn) for the cactuar needle and its annoying trying to get them.

GUYS. EXPERICAST IS NOT A MULTIPLIER. It adds base XP... so if u use it on a Lvl 1 vs a lvl 100 the xp increase is the same. Yes. So this method is useless. Don't listen to this guy - try it out. The XP buff + Hotel sleep + expericast is enough. You can run around for days and use expericast as much as you want... just make sure not to sleep before you have enough Xp. Once ur a higher lvl u wont get as much xp from normal kills so ur XP will slow.

I was going to do the Cactuar method to get some early level grinding... but I think I'll skip that and just play the game like normal. Then I'll think about giving this fight a shot. Seems much more enjoyable than trying to track down that stupid cactuar.

That was my thoughts also. The Cactuar method felt slow and to random and doing it to early pulls you away from the story right away. At least this method gives you time to experience some of the game and decide if you even want to power level or not. Good luck!

Ah well with a Quadcast you have the chance of inflicting multiple spells at once in a chain. if you put most of the element to thunder then it'll be a lighting quadcast to which it will have the possibility of 4 strikes. So yeah just go with Thunder to get the best odds of it casting 4 times

honestly depends on luck and how many coins you got from playing the game normal. First time I did it, I started with 4 already looted and the other 5 took about 20 minutes. But I know others have had longer times based on bad rng

I'm in chapter 5 with over 150k Gil of grinding and side questing. My brother started two days after I did and is already at level 70+ Fucker got all wisdom teeth pulled and on vacation damn it!

Adoth93 since your on chapter 13 already this means you can find some other place that has higher level monsters that give out more exp so you shouldn't fight it since your so far ahead and you would hardly get exp from it unless you use a whole lot of magic that has exp with it

I used the magitech booster, they add a pretty decent potency boost, the 5-cast variant, and they're pretty common. Im sure there are others though

There is bug that keeps him from spawning. You need to exit the game and come back. But I suggest waiting to do this. I have another video coming out here shortly (hopefully) that gets you more xp from this same fight. Almost double the xp. Trying to edit it now so trying to hurry!
