Don't get me wrong, the late game pacing and rushed story are weak points, but the sense of comeraderie I felt upon completion actually broke me, like, grown ass man deployed in the desert crying my eyes out lol

It's easier to fish for gold lucian carp than chasing coins. Just 3 fish gives me 9 lucian carp reverscales (expert item angler). That's enough for a lvl 99 expericast spell with 5 casts (bonus spell).

How overpowered can you get? Turns out, not very. FF15 doesn't let you get very strong, you never get the feeling of "oh yeah I'm a badass" even at max level. It was one of the many things I hated about the game.

So this wasn't really an overpowered video, it was a video showing how early you can get to max level, since you can't get good gear and even the best sword in the game is utterly pi$$ compared to the initial weapon. Sounds sort of like my FFXIV character, who got to Reaper max level in Heavensward... and found that she couldn't do the Extremes or Savages because her equipment was just crappy Shire gear since you can't get Level 80 gear with Tomestones before you complete Shadowbringers, so I had to spend real money to get Silver Chocobo Feathers to equip her with a Cryptlurker weapon, top and bottom. Thankfully some kind player I quested with traded me a spare set of the Level 90 crafted gear for Reaper but even then, Item Level 630 is piss poor when fighting Shadowbringers Savage Raids. Xp Poor Noctis, I want the FFXV collab to come back so I can camp out with him again. ^_^

tbf he mostly does these sort of things for games with some kind of exploit or method. Like, he wouldn't probably do this for paper mario, just because you technically COULD get to max level, with nearly 3000 fights. He's not going to be like that guy that spent years getting to max level in, ff7 iirc, in the tutorial or whatever it was, that's not what he's about, really, it's more breaking games optimally.

Ok, I'm really really sorry for being that guy, but could you keep the music volume lower in future? I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but the music is louder than your speaking volume, and it makes it very difficult to distinguish what you're saying, especially when the guitar kicks in. I've had to stop watching halfway through just because I was starting to get nauseous from trying to differentiate what you were saying from the song. I hope I'm not coming off as mean here, I genuinely feel really awkward about bringing it up, but it does seem like a bad move to spend hundreds of hours on a video only for your voice to be drowned out by your background music.

I got this game forever ago just cuz i got it cheap, and ive been playin here and there throughout the week at the end of chapter 1(i didnt wanna end it until like Friday or Saturday when i can out some time into the game and not get interupted after a hour or so) but since ive been playin a hour-3 a day here and there and havent left the forst area to end chapter 1, im currently level 14 sitting on almost 63,000 xp and 115,000 gold(i maxed out my potions snd fishing stuff and all that so idk what else to buy) but when i goto start chapter 2 tommorow with the x2 boost ima have like 126,000 xp give or take 😂😂😂😂

Btw, if you don't want to do the coin farming, there is another way. basically you fight the bandersnatch immediately after Chapter 3 when you unlock the rest of the map, but first drive all the way to ravatogh mountain mart and buy some weapons from the vendor, then drive all the way to hunter HQ and buy the 3500 gil meal (and there's also other weapons here too). Then you can farm Bandersnatch at a really low level (kill him then head to the camp and wait, don't rest nearby), sell his item drops to afford the golden quay resort stay, at around level 30 or so there's a bounty again near ravatogh mountain (a bunch of wyverns) that's the next best place for EXP, then at around level 50 you can go fight legendary beasts instead - Can't remember their names but the big snake, the Eagle and the two massive bulls - just make sure you leave around 20 minutes for each to respawn. there's also a couple other moogle charms around the place (3 or 4 if i recall by this point in the game), and lets not forget the cacti outside hammerhead that respawn every in game hour. The wyvern bounty farms crazy gil as well. There is one more after all this, but not till after chapter 13 - it essentially just involves going out at night and using the ring of Luci on the spawning monsters - but the big kahuna is the occasional level 99 mech that drops down - but can often take tens of hits of the ring of luci to instakill. Used this last method to get all the way to level 120.

When i played the game i've accumulated tons of exp in chapter 1 using niexperience band then leveled up when you get free 2x exp hotel. The second time ive leveled up was after getting to Alticia. One of good exp farms (in my opinion) is the daily quest where you have to kill cactuars. Use Promptos black hole skill to suck cactuarts into one place then use max level thunder spell.

Keep up the good work, hope you will do some more in the future. A idea I had is to maybe make some OP videos of the spin-offs and non main entries? Games like Dirge for example or the first Crystal Chronicles game (which has a switch remaster, means you don't have to dig up your Gamecube) could be really fun in a setting like this.

I just watched a vid from 7 years ago and this one from 6 months ago. You guys know you can make your way onto the giant stone arch things using a chocobo right? Right outside the chocobo farm. And all of them really. Takes some work to find the right spot to get up. But theres some op drops up there including another moogle charm. Plus bandersnatch is still thr best. In combination with all of the exp boosting make a bunch of max expericasts using only one bit of each element. Then cast them all on one boss. Lots of farming. Only one fight necessary though. Rest at the resort 2x experience place and you can get max leveled.

now before starting the video, since i actually know a bit about ff15, im gonna guess what gets abused cactaur daily quest for exp combined with the no exp ring and then the best inn you get pre chapter 4 with that and the car existing everything on the ap board because the car can generate ap for you really strong magic at minimum the infinimagic from all the cactaur needles. rest? i dunno and will see edit after watching the video: ok completely different route. but what works works. tbh i didnt know these coins were a thing.

audio levels are difficult as it always depends on what the person is listening with, me and my editor for example can still hear me clearly but then some are having troubles, it is an issue we've noted down though and were going to flatly lower the volume for future videos

kinda same, except chapter 4. I did enough exp grind to get to like 30 with the first. Quay rest, then got to 80 or so with the free 3x from whichever chapter altissa is.

Great video! I tried to strategize something similar back in the day when the level cap was still at 99. Of course I quit after getting the moogle charm. I still have not beaten Omega in this game. What always stroke me as odd in this game is how people don't have a care in the world driving around or going to vacation even though the capital was destoyed and most people are dead.

........ so who's gonna tell him he can do timed quests with one file and collect the rewards on another file? sure the EXP per 600 points is just 50k (meaning 520 reward turn ins for 26mil. meaning 312,000 points. thats 624 runs of the dread behemoth and treant combo mission. which can be done in about 5 mins a pop if youget really good at it. chances are thats not happening so 3120 runs of a fast mission like the 4 malboro's or something that the ringworks on) but if you get good at the time changing then you can farm thousands of points pretty quickly from the higher level quests. may not save time on the casting/fighting portion, but almost certainly saves you time compared to the coin collection (and it aint cheating the system either, considering he allowed the DLC rewards in!) i would attempt this myself to see the difference in time (including a playthrough to get to the right chapter for a fast missions, so chapter 4 for the malboro murder for example) but.... i got a full time job and i dont wanna. still, as always, i admire the dedication!

@@Primalliquid92 lol oh i know. was just pointing out a different route for it is all. and was a random thought i had while watching this. plus as it's something that doesnt even require you to start your "broken playthrough" to start farming, TECHNICALLY it can make you level 120 before you even fight your first monster. i think. pretty sure timed quests are available the moment you can open the menu.... plus you would need to use the trailer at the garage which i think is only 1.5 exp so would need to get EVEN MORE exp than if you have access to Quay unless you walk over there.... which is not something i have ever thought about either. should be possible i suppose. ........ this is why i shouldnt comment at like 1AM my time, mind wanders like this.

One other slightly OP piece of gear you can get early is Drain lance 3, there's a single coeurl outside keycatrich trench after you get the axe of the conqueror you can kill for coeurl whiskers, it's a bit tricky but you can use the bioblaster you can find right outside the dungeon to poison it for a relatively easy kill. Other stuff you can relatively easily cheese with poison is the samurai guy in Balouve mines, he never leaves the pit so you can poison him and then just hang out on the upper parts cosplaying Prompto and tickling him with a gun until he perishes so you can get the bow of the clever, you can also grab an emerald bracelet and a circlet here which are pretty good accessories for chapter 2.

I gotta say, I honestly love this game, I think it gets a lot of undeserved hate (It gets a lot of deserved hate too to be fair) It has a lot of problems but the combat system is really good and fun if you choose to engage with it and not just brute force it with warp strikes and items, sure, you'll steam roll the game just by holding O and spamming potions if you wish, (which, I acknowledge is a flaw in the design) but if you deliberately choose to ignore items there's an incredible amount of depth in the game's combat system. This is especially apparent in Comrades which still has a small but active community.

While the ch15 accessories definitely are better, I don't think the Emerald Bracelet or the Celestriad are anything to sneeze at considering how early they're available. A couple of Emerald Bracelets can just be picked up at the start of the game if you know where to find them. Even at level 120 an extra 50 strength is gonna be a 10% or so increase, and the Celestriad is a 30% decrease to most magic damage. If you're gonna spend 350 hours farming coins, the 30 minutes of grabbing the free emerald bracelets and one or two hours of Justice Monsters Five is probably worthwhile. For sane people that just want to be OP early, instead of the maximum amount of OP possible, just getting the ultima weapon for Noctis, the upgraded bio blaster for Prompto, the weapons sold at Meldacio which are the best you can get for a pretty long while, and the couple of emerald bracelets that are around at the start, is a great way to be wildly overpowered within just a couple hours.

What I did for my playthrough is use Ragnarok sword. Do all monster hunt quest/side quest, explore (possible) dungeons, and save up all exp and use it to the times 2 multiplayer in The beach side place (forgot the name) where you help a ignis look a like who’s a reporter
