11:16 I have 2 identical 120v single phase power stations with 30 amp connectors (24 amps max), can I connect both to this auto transformer to give 240v split phase output from the Victron so I can power 2 legs of a sub panel?

Can you install the autotransformer on a eg4 6000xp. All I have is 120v ac. Can you do a video on this. Thanks

I see that Ecoflow has a box that you can connect two Ecoflow units and get 240v. Unfortunately, it only works with Ecoflow. Is there anything similar I can use with two powerbanks?

Hi, great video so when I have 4000w inverter auto transformer gonna create another leg 4000 W so I have two legs 4000 W? Thank you

Your TOTAL output power will be slightly LESS than your 4kW input. Some energy is lost to HEAT in any transformer (he mentions the fan). This will raise your voltage & lower your current OR lower your voltage & raise your current.

can i use this kind of setup to "fool" grid tie solar inverters to think thats a 240volt present? and connect the load on a splitter on the 240volt cable? there is a project for you...

Can you explain the “32 amp imbalance” thing, I’m not fully understanding.

When you use 240 volts, you actually create 2 120v “legs”. Most outlets in the US connect to one of those two power legs. The outlets usually randomly connect the legs in your power box so you can get an asymmetrical load on each leg. The autotransformer can accommodate 32 Amps of imbalance between the legs. Hope this explanation helps.

My EV with 100Kwh battery can output 30 amps @120v via a General Motors power bar+. (Looks like a power strip with a tt30 connection) I like the idea of the Victron to step up to 240 v and feed my panel via generator inlet. The panel will have interlock and I can pick my breakers during power outage. I wonder if it’s a good idea to put in a solar generator in berween the ev source and the victron as a sacrificial device in case something weird happens ? So the ev charges the solar generator which feeds the victron which feeds my panel at 240 v Is my logic safe ? Mini split is a Mr cool 3 zone (would only use one zone max 12000 btus ) max 1300 and watts. Thx

The autotranformer will make the conversation to 240v for you. Not sure how adding anything else would help.

Very helpful video. I need to use the autotransformer to balance my 120v loads for a 240v power source. Can you do a video with 240v power source to the autotransformer and 240v out of the autotransformer feeding 120v unbalanced loads? It would be great to see the configuration, the wiring diagram & the current on each 120v leg feeding the autotransformer. Thx

Find 110 v on two 110 v outlets . use two 110 v outlets = 220v
