HOW TO GET 5 STARS WITH TRACER IN HERO MASTERY

for those of you struggling with agent, it is still possible to get 5 stars without killing the explosive bots so just skip them and save yourself the time. this was my strat for 5 stars

For console, the shield bots are unfairly difficult to hit so another route is to kill one explosive bot and skip the walking shield bots entirely. This route got me 5-stars with 10577.

Extra tip: taking damage from your own pulsebomb and recalling from the low health gives bonus points and is the only way to get the max score. I believe you can get upto 4x recalls from low health for an extra 200 points.

Note: Tracer Agent course (I think that's the second one) does glitch out randomly with the tank bots. There should be 4 in total right before the room with the finish line (one at the beginning middle, one at the end middle, and one on each side by the end). Also, the explosions bits do not count if they explode or die, you HAVE to kill them with your guns

I kept playing these mastery missions thinking I need to collect all the badges to get 5-star. Once I realized I could skip a number of them, it became easier. Need only go for everything if you are trying for top 500.

For Veteran, the bottom bot isn't worth getting anymore so just go on to the other side and collect the ult battery there for the 2nd set of shield bots. The reason is that despite killing it you are still going to be 2-3% ult charge away from your ult so if you don't skip the battery, you need to shoot the bot a bit before tossing the bomb which then makes it useless as you won't have enough bullets to kill the 2nd in one clip unless you are really fancy with it and can do a 180 pulse Kobe to the one you aren't shooting

On agent u can skip explosive path and 1 tank for a 5 Star missing 3 kills and 3 banners

You're not limited to one pulse bomb. There's ult pickups, you might as well use them on all the shield bots

it's faster to kill them with the gun than to go pick up the ult charge and every second is needed if you want 5 stars since you need to finish with the *3 multiplier

I managed to do Recruit to 5 stars because there aren’t as many tank bots in annoying spots, but the Agent one I just can’t do and I haven’t tried Veteran yet because I want to get 5 on Agent first, but I don’t know how to. I’ll probably just have to skip certain bots and banners so I get just enough score and complete it quick enough.

Ugh, I grinded out a good run on Veteran and it didn't save the time to the leaderboard. I would have gotten 32nd but instead have to stick with my older 362nd. Useful video.

the orangey bots u dont need to kill, walk on their platform blink to the other one, then get back to the map "the platform will fall and count u as kills" will save some seconds i cant even get 4 star on this map xd i tried killing everything yet still missing 4 bots somehow

Veteran is EXTREMELY harder than Agent. I've completed Agent within 1.5 hours (top 200), but spent 6 hours on Veteran and still haven't completed it((

I'm losing brain cells trying to 5 star this lesbian. I got a score of 10459.9 I think that's 99% for Agent. Edit: I got 10466.2 still not 5 stars. Edit: I somehow collected every Emblem and got a new high of 10486.2 I'm giving up lads... Edit: I got 10519.0 but no 5 star yet. I recalled below 30 hp and I did screw up once where I wasn't low enough. God damn it... It's a skill issue.

I hate these masteries and the mastery season challenges, sure, I could do soldier ones, those are easy! every other one is just so god damn complicated for no reason you have to do 50 different things at once use every ability and speedrun all at the same time

Nuh fam. This game mode is a waste of time for me. Makes you memorize paths and locations for a speedrun with points. Maybe for the younger generation that hasn't done similar stuff in the past it might be nice.
