The colours are fabulous, and the double or even triple layers are fascinating. The results may be accidental but the fact that so many of the overlays work is the result of a keen eye and excellence in composition for each of the 72 frames. I like the biker sandwiched between the double selfies especially

Ansel Adam’s in one of his trilogy of photography books explained a lot about pre-exposing film as a prep for better low-light photography. It made the film more sensitive by filling in the minimum exposure to get any film density above film base + fog. But that was about B&W materials.

I've actually recently encountered an issue with my contax T2, probably to do with the film advance, where it just double/triple exposes every photo. It's a real pain but I can see why some of the results are pleasing to look at.
@thewildgoose74673 жыл бұрын
I just bought a Konica autoreflex dating from the '60's which AFAIK is the only slr camera ever made which allows switching between half frame and full frame during a roll. So now I can get 72 shots on one roll of film (or 36, or 57, or 66 or any number between 36-72) just by switching a lever as I shoot. I know it's got nothing to do with the theme here which is double exposures, but an interesting camera which fits the "72 shots on one roll of 35mm" brief.
@therealsirrobin3 жыл бұрын
Great! You could shoot one roll for years and have all your photos on one single one! :D

It would be really interesting if you can print out the whole negative as one giant roll of print.

Then you need to scan the roll in one which isn't possible but you could stitch the photos in post but that's a lot of work.
