HOW TO GET A 34+ ON THE ACT | Tips and Advice

My first ACT video in my ACT series is finally here! In this video I talk about how to get a 34+ (or score in the 99th percentile) on the ACT.

Hey guys! A few quick announcements: I'm going to be posting ACT videos throughout the week (leading up to the test on Saturday) for those of you who have it this week. However, since I know most of you aren't taking the ACT this weekend, I'll still be uploading my typical content (study w/ me's, revealing my GPA, my first senior year vlog, etc) on top of that so you guys have something other than ACT videos to watch. I'm going to be doing a live study w/ me tonight from 7-9 PM EST, on Wednesday from 4-6:00 PM, and on Sunday from 11 AM - 2 PM. Hope to see you there! :)

I’m sorry I know it’s not relevant to this video, but could you give me advice if you can. I’m trying to study for my AP Bio class, but I’m just so agitated. My class rank isn’t published until end of senior year, but I heard I was in the running for valedictorian. Then I heard one of the main contenders is someone who has been cheating off me since day one. Ive spoken to her she promised to stop, multiple times. I try to shield, but she still manages to copy off me. My teacher moved her then her parents complained she was being falsely accused despite numerous people testifying to this. And I don’t know if it’s because I’m black or if I come off as untrustworthy despite my clean transcript, they always suspect me first despite having consistently high scores even when they move me. How do I ignore this? It’s really getting to me and I hate it so much because I need to study.

Mick SW Continue to do well even when you're not near her. If you do this, there's no way they can say you're cheating. Distractions make school much more difficult than it needs to be, just keep at it and you'll be fine.

Manny Wilson That’s the thing. They moved me instead of her. She nearly failed her test while I still got an A. They don’t care at ALL. And she’s still getting credit for all this work and it’s driving me crazy because they refuse to have any repercussions.

Hi! I'm so sorry you have to deal with such a situation 😞 Have your parents talked with administration / the teacher yet? I would recommend doing that if you can. Also, maybe have some other people who also are experiencing the same thing group up with you? I hope everything works out!💖

I'm so sorry for you to go through this because I feel you school is already stressful please if you can consider switching school. Idk about your city but in California we can switch schools really easily and it will not hurt u but that's just an option if you can not do something about it! Have you considered talking to your counselor to change classes at least instead of having AP Bio first period for example get it 2nd or 3rd

I'm taking it on Saturday! I got a 29 last time as a freshman (I'm a sophomore now!) (English 30, Reading 33, Science 28, and Math 24). Math is my weak subject, but it should be better now that I'm taking Algebra II. I'm so nervous!!! 😓

Selvaggia Aguillon you could take it in the summer. Then when you get your scores back and you are unhappy with the results then you can take it again in the fall

6:02 Make sure you don’t leave out your strong section too much tho because if you do then you might forget it by the time the actual test comes around.

Actually I got a 34 but that was in 1979, so I am sure it is quite different. but it sent me to The Ohio State University for 10 years in the 1980'

If you do really well on an act without the essay and not as well on a test with the essay can you just use the essay score with the test you did better on?

The only studying I did for the ACT was doing a single practice test. My composite was a 34. I got a 35 in science and a 34 in math, reading, and english. I've always been good at multiple choice tests, so I didn't feel the need to study.
