Get your double citizenship start by calling 311 if your in nyc area they will give you all the steps to getting it done, plus if you ever get an inheritance you won’t be liable to a 50% tax that the Dom rep hits if not a Dominican citizen so hurry it up you never know Plus you never have to pay the 10 dollars going in or pay going out
@dlrj19766 жыл бұрын
Dude make a video if you haven’t about getting double citizenship for people born of Dominican parents so they avoid the 50% tax on inheritance spread the word and keep up the good work just recently I bumped into your vids

I lived in the DR for over 10 years, I’m a us citizen and never got a resident card. I will always overstay and pay the penalty. Don’t remember being expensive at all, I would give the custom person $20 US and on my way. Maybe it has changed.

That's a question I need to know. My dad is Dominican but he was not born there. My wife is Dominican and she was born there. I use to co own 3 businesses there but never had any of this. I guess I was illegal. Lol. I've also stayed more than 3 months a few times and they never said anything at the airport. Maybe da system fucked up and I just slipped past.

Juan Carlos, I suggest you sort it out and do it "the proper way" anyways, because they may not be paying too much attention, but once they do, they may give you a big fine.

All you have to do it's get their birth certificate go to the dominican embassy and apostilite your birth certificate and then get a lawyer there to start the process it's like a $600 cost. I did it for both pf my kids.

Miguel Hernandez If parents are dominican u already are dominincan citizen no matter where are born
@randytorres71966 жыл бұрын
morison morison nope and that's why kids born in USA or any other country with dominican have to pay coming into the country and pay more if they stay over a month. Having Dominican parents doesn't make you dominican, but with the appropriate legal process you can become. Now if you think having dominican parents makes you Dominican why do you have to go to the foreign line when coming in and have to buy a visa for 30 days? I had to do this for both of my kids.
@elrudo2games6 жыл бұрын

@KiskeyaLife8 жыл бұрын
+Chris Ubani You may have to get in touch with the DR embassy closest to Nigeria - in Morocco, Egypt or SA. As a member of the British Commonwealth you could also call the British embassy and inform yourself. Worth a try, especially if you've traveled to the EU or US before.

totally bullshit... the procedure is different. Don't come with notarized documents of your country or any documents issued by any Dominican embassy abroad. The MIGRACION in Santo Domingo will not accept because they want to earn money here. Don't give the order supporting you to the next best lawyer, but to one who is recommended because experienced in this specific business. Getting a Dominican Passport you could loose your original one. Really not a good idea.
@geogmz82777 жыл бұрын
How can you get a Dominican passport without Dominican Citizenship? I thought passport are tie to your nationality.
@temirodirt7 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex Can you explain all the steps involved on exactly how you progress through this process and what lawyer would recomend?
@dpl2802 жыл бұрын
Thats totally false you don’t lose your original passport btw if anyone needs to pass their Dominican Nationality just call the NY or FL Consulate for instruction, its not that hard and cost less than 500$
