Gratulation zum Führerschein! Übrigens eine kleine Anregung: könntest Du Dir vorstellen, mal ein Video auf Deutsch aufzunehmen?

My tip is to search actively, i.e. place search ads yourself! Not only on large websites such as Immobilien Scout, but also in local newspapers!

Thanks for this great explanation. I just got my driving licence after failing twice, that was a whole struggle. I'm now car hunting 😊, It'd be really great if you gave us an insight about how to get a good and affordable car. Again thanks for your educative videos❤

Enjoyed this video. I’m from Nevada so I’ll have to take the test. I’d also appreciate the video on purchasing a car. It would help in my decision to ship my car or sell it to dealership and use the money to buy a car in Germany….when that time comes. Hope you all are doing well, and Congrats to Sven on completing his Masters program!

I remember my first time driving in America, I was sat at a red light and people were hooting at me. I wasn't aware right turns on red are permitted.
@ZoieMarie6 ай бұрын
My point exactly! This is something I was looking for in Germany too but it’s not a law here! Hence why folks should try to do some research when driving in DE 🇩🇪

I'm nearly 60 years old (German) and know a lot of people who did not hurry with the driving license because of the theoretical test and the much stuff you have to learn. You see - Germans are also annoyed about the theory 😁. And when I did the motorcycle driving license just about 15 years ago - I had to do it all again specified to motorcyles 🙄🤣🤣 By the way - I never understood the different rules for the different US states and also think it is really unfair! The states that don't have to do the German test don't have different road rules that are similar to Germany I guess? So why are they advantaged?

Hey Zoie thanks for all the content you post. Do you find living in Berlin expensive? Also would you recommend Leipzig City , or Hamburg as a place to live for young expats?
@ZoieMarie6 ай бұрын
I think Berlin housing can be expensive but other living costs are relatively ok. Re: the other German cities I have no idea as I’ve never lived there 😇

Wow! Maybe 2000 Euros? I would be on public transportation, lol. No plans to move to Germany but this is still good info for friends who might.
@ZoieMarie7 ай бұрын
Yes it’s expensive!! 😭 if Public transportation was nice I wouldn’t have mind just doing that but I was traveling like 2 hours one way to work at the time. My job was so remote so I needed a car

It is kind of scary funny that I drove in Europe with an international license and my North American license. No lessons or questions asked when renting the cars in Western Europe.
@ZoieMarie6 ай бұрын
Yeah that is scary lol and to my point that maybe Germany should enforce more trainings & etc. for people coming over cause the no speed limit thing plus people who've never experienced that could be dangerous
@Kbydfrsghusy7 ай бұрын
Once you see the difference in rules and in the amount of signs of USA vs Europe you woudl understand why it’s better to just do it.
