Hi Tatiana! Thank you so much for making this series!!! I've been trying to work out how to start a VTube for ages and stumbled across your channel yesterday! It's been SO helpful! I'm still trying to work out how to get my facial expressions to actually work at all, but I'll work it out lol. Your facial expressions on here are amazing!!! I hope I can get to that point! :) Also! I don't know if anyone has said it yet but your Avatar is in "A" pose (with arms slightly raised) which is why you're getting those warnings. If when you copy your Avatar link into a new tab, before downloading it, put "?pose=T" after ".glb" in the address bar, you'll get a "T" Pose Avatar (with arms straight out to each side). Then it'll just load into editor with it's arms by it's side and not raise any warnings. ^_^ (not that it seems to affect it in any way) Hope that helps someone lol

I appreciate the tip! It helps with not getting errors on Animaze Editor, but the avatar itself doesn't work on Animaze (just like the A pose doesn't work either). The face doesn't track, the head twitches and looks up constantly, the mouth doesn't move at all with voice inputs. I've been trying to make this work for a couple weeks. Do you have any solutions for this...?

Hi Tatiana! I just discovered your channel last week and I just wanted to say I LOVE IT! I'm a KZbinr as well and I've been making tutorials for animation for years and I've kind of fallen off it because I wanted to make a really good interactive avatar but haven't quite gotten it down yet. I've made a couple of really good 2D characters and have used Adobe Character Animator but when I saw your channel I thought...."That's exactly the style I want to do!" But I have a couple of questions. One, can you edit your ready player me character in blender? I like the model but I want to tweak it to look more like me. Is that possible? And two, I'm already guessing your answer will be "Yeah, of course!" but is an Iphone with live face going to get me the absolute best results with capturing? You are literally the ONLY person I've seen on KZbin that has such a high quality of caputure and expression. I know you tweaked a lot of the settings but man, you're facial expression and mouth movement are second to none! I don't have an iphone but i'm going to check out if I can get one or a new ipad with live face and a good lighting set up this weekend. Thank you so much for your kind words! First, yes you can put the models into Blender, I actually did that to make my beginning and end screens on my live streams. Second, yes any iPhone model from the iPhone X up will have the best facial tracking, I recently tried to get my sister set up but with rig but she does not have an iPhone, we tried her android and it was a mess and barely caught her expressions unfortunately. The facial tracking took a long time of trial and error to get how I wanted it and I am picky about how it looks. I still think it could use some work but am happy with the overall results. Hi, I actually don't use the Animaze Editor and only use Animaze itself to make changes to colors of my textures. They are png images which maybe why they are kind of lower in quality which I have noticed. I have a video explaining that if you want. Hey, so I used photoshop and just took the image for the sweater and recoloured everything thing except the necklace. That’s why it stayed the same Colour and did not change with the recoloring. I just made the Colour I painted on an overlay so the Color’s were not too harsh. Hope this helped out. 🙂

I think it should be possible as you are able to make models in other software's like Blender and import them in. Here is the page on Animaze site about animations: www.animaze.us/manual/3davatar/3danimations I am still pretty new to animating and VTubing in general but I am sure it is possible. I think based on the site the animations have to be attached to the model itself. Again I am a total noob so best option to get the right info would be to check the website and ask Animaze themselves on Discord. I really hope this helped you out sorry I did not have an outright answer. I do know the ready player me models can be put into blender and exported as mov files, that is how I made my beginning and end screens for live streams. I used Mixamo to get free animation files and then put them back into blender but not directly into Animaze. I was going to do a video about that as well incase people wanted to do something like that themselves.

Are you using a phone or webcam? If you are using webcam you may need to have more light on your face so the program can pick up you movements. If that is not working you can go and make/download your avatar from alsoanimaze.readyplayer.me, instead of readyplayer.me.

I think you skip one step. After you enter Hub, you need to click Animaze apps to which the avatar will connect. It will proceed your avatar to compactible with Animaze. And You will not get T pose error.

That could work, but according to their instructions that is not supposed to be needed. They did reach out to me and said that they have another model from this website animaze.readyplayer.me This model can use animations but its arms are again stuck straight down. I showed this to them and said it would be nice if the arms resting pose was something that could be adjusted in Animaze itself. They said they would pass it on, so hopefully one day instead of everyone learning Blender which can be difficult. It can just be done inside the program Animaze itself.

Yes Animaze does need to run in the background for your model to move and continue to animate, I usually minimized the program and leave it running. There is an option to make Animaze a priority to have the program not weigh down games and things. I did this but honestly for some games I have issues with both the game and running Animaze while OBS records everything. One game I have absolutely been struggling with running everything with is Fortnite x Lego. I was going to make a video covering it, but I can't get everything to run while the game is smoothly. Generally though I have not had this issue with other games. 😅 How to Run Animaze with priority: Settings > General > Click Increase Process Priority Tab On

Is you camera set up and calibrated correctly? Sometimes I find closing Animaze and restarting it can help after making certain changes. If you use a phone you also have to make sure the phone app is updated.

You just look in the folder Animaze made with your model and the images for wrap/texture. You can drag the image into photoshop and it will automatically correctly size. Then add a layer over top that is a bit transparent and change the Color of that box. I will be making a video on it soon we have had some construction in my house so recording has been very minimal while it’s been going on for a few weeks now.

I never found out how to adjust them to a more natural standing position, but there was an update so the arms can be moved with a controller (Xbox, PlayStation, ect) for arm movement. I also had this issue with the small text, I resized the window in settings and eventually it fixed itself. I do find though that the text is a bit small still but I can still read it.

Hhmmm some others have commented on having this issue this week since the update Animaze had. Try making and downloading the avatar from animaze.readyplayer.me, instead of readyplayer.me. Let me know if that works, if it does not you should go to Animaze discord and see if they can help with what exactly is going wrong. Also because you are using a webcam it wont be the exact same result as using an iPhone because the camera technology is different. You may need more lighting on your face for better results or to be properly detected.

@@elkobra yes if you want the best tracking available iPhone provides the best because of the front camera. It is the best camera to track facial expression. You can use a webcam but unfortunately the results wont be the same as an iPhone. I don't really prefer iPhone but because of the camera being so good I ended up getting one with my phone plan.
