Great video! may I ask why so much tape on the left chest print?
@StevenCranst Жыл бұрын
Thanks! In this one, I burned both the left chest and full back, so I had to use a bunch of tape to mask the back while I printed the left chest.

Is the ink water soluble? Good informative vid man. How are multiple colors on the same print applied? Can other sub straights be printed on in a similar manner as this?
@StevenCranst11 ай бұрын
This is plastisol ink; not water soluble.. for multi-color prints, you would use a multi-color screen printing press. Other substrates, such as flat stock, can be printed in this same manner. Thanks for the questions!

Great video! I’m gearing up to purchase a jumbo pre burned screen from you guys (new brand owner) so this makes my anxiety go down lol. Is it possible to swap out the ink & will the emulsion remain intact?
@StevenCranst10 ай бұрын
Thanks! If you're using plastisol ink, just use a press wash that is formulated for plastisol. If you're using waterbased inks, be sure to request that your screen be chemically hardened to resist stencil breakdown.. You can use water to wash off waterbased ink (not plastisol), but don't scrub your screen with anything too abrasive or put chemicals on it or it may break down. Keep on printin'!

Can you cure the ink with an iron?
@StevenCranst11 ай бұрын
Possible, but not recommended. Would need to cover the print with a towel, and not iron the plastisol directly. Thanks for the question!
