I got my Nintendo Wii right here. I'll edit this comment to confirm this or not. (Edit: I booted up the disc and flew to this galaxy, and tried multiple times. Mario crouched at the second mark, but I couldn't get him to boost, no matter how many times I tried. It's probably possible, but I just can't do it.)
