I have spent all this weekend and all this night watching, studying, and taking notes on these videos to create a study guide for me to read religiously before my SAT on Wednesday. The caffeine runs through my veins and MIT calls my name. 1500 is my goal and I won’t let sleep get in my way. Thanks for the videos, incredibly useful. I have deduced that I need three main things to have a chance. (Identifying the topic of the problem, finding the formula required for the topic, and finally how to solve the problem using the formula.) I call these the three pillars.

It just basically means that sin(10) = cos(80), aka sin(angle) = cos(compliment of that angle) and vice versa, hence they are equal.

Thank you so much, this is so helpful! My last math score was a 670 but with your series I'm confident I can get it to 780+ for the upcoming March SAT!! For #9, just to clarify - if a graph bounces off the x-axis at ANY point (as opposed to going straight through), that gives it a multiplicity of 2? How would we determine if a graph is x^3 or x^4, etc.?
@krishnagajjela67892 жыл бұрын
That is the rule for all even numbers. The zero for x^4 would also bounce off the axis, same with x^6, x^8, etc. For odd numbers, it would cross the axis, so not only x but also x^3, and also x^5

Think about it like this... you are trying to find the values that make the binomials go to 0, so if you have (x - 2), a positive 2 will make it equal 0. Does that make sense?

@ScalarLearning4 жыл бұрын
You're very welcome!! It has to be squared because it doesn't penetrate the x-axis, it bounces off at 0 which implies a multiplicity of 2. Does that make sense?
