im one of those rare people that can get a perfect score in reading/writing but still struggle with the math. SAT math isn’t even difficult it’s just weird wording of questions and things the college board does to trick you into getting the wrong answer. like u dont even need to know advanced trig and complex algebra u just need to be good w problem solving. so the best thing to do is to study the math sections on past official sat tests and practice with those, everything else won’t help you because they dont use the same strategies as College Board. That’s what helped me improve my math score 100 points so far so hope this helps yall

I understand. However, you should aim for the highest so that there is enough room for error to get a score that is slightly less than a perfect score. If you aim for a lower score, then most likely you will get a lower score than what you want

Anyone know how to do well on the reading section, I often get bored reading passages and have to re-read them to understand what it’s saying then near the end run out of time. Also on the grammar section they all look the same to me, I’m stuck 😪.

Don’t take 4, take them all. And don’t worry if you can’t get three perfect in a row, I’d only gotten one 800 practicing math (with one question wrong) before I went perfect on test day. Good luck!

Me Me I took one practice test and got 19 wrong on both reading and editing section. The math section was hopeless for me, I ended up only getting 3 right on the no calculator and just gave up on the calculator part , but I do have an sat math book that I skimmed over but I don’t think that’s enough for me to do good on it 😖😖

What do you think of the practice tests inside the Kaplan, Barron's, and TPR's books? I find them to be harder than the real tests, with Barron's being the hardest. Do you think they are a good way to practice, side from the real tests?

I self-studied using only Khan Academy and got a 1490 with perfect math ;) Although I did score a 1550 on a practice test and scored perfect on every math section except for one. I missed 9 questions for a 1490, so try to aim for fewer than 10 incorrect questions and you'll be fine.
