You don't need a fire flask, firebolt does it all: helps to fly over the mountain, can put the mini-boss on fire and does a great job at killing spawned enemies. Setup a bomb to put the mini-boss on fire, then kill both spawned enemies and shoot it in a face after triple shot attack.

It does, although limited spell and inconsistant for fire (like most slow fired spells) but was the plan we had from the start of this run as mentioned, but changed up with having fire potion thrown at me as it way more effective.

@@LetsSufferTogether it'll 100% set the spider on fire if you fly in and cast it point blank. You'll likely get slapped for 13 damage by a melee attack, but that's not a big price to pay for a guaranteed kill IMO.

you can just fly up using your water flask no need for a digging spell getting to the boss is the hard part so starting every game with 50 extra hp is nice

Thanks man, might be a somewhat difficult one getting into for newer players since you will still get shot at and maybe short on health back to the first floor (depending on what you find/obtain first floor to pyramid) but once you get it down, definatly worth the time to get down for the early gains for floor 2/3 and beyond exploration time with the extra health. I hope more people consider doing it more and more.

Last run I did, I found a fast drill wand on the first floor, so I went to the pyramid. Then I was randomly digging around until I randomly dug into the top of the first floor orb room across the lava lake. It was a crazy start.

​ Let's Suffer Together I usually make my way down to the snowy part and then climb up the side passage. Hopefully, the mines have a lot of health in them. I search the first 2 biomes like crazy for everything. Then by the time I climb back out, I have a wand that I can make a notch in the wall to climb over, grab the health over on the pyramid. Then I run back and hit the dark caves and drain them.. Usually have to run blind in them, cuz I don't find myself a torch wand, usually. Get more health from there. Then over to the shrine at the shaft going back down to the snowy place (Sometimes picking up that orb can cause a collapse in the cave, so I don't grab it first). Then back down to die horribly at the base or in the vault LOL! I'm still really really new to Noita, so I still haven't beaten it yet LOL! I kinda wanna include killing the miniboss in the pyramid, but he scares me LOL! I can just float around and fight him for awhile, but never tried setting him on fire. He tends to eventually wear me down, but I never tried with lots of health yet.

Aye, its something you have to get used to, and how to deal with his additional enemys and such, but a fire potion makes it super easy, might still take damage and have to take it weasy when you get back to the first floor, but is worth attempting ^^

@Doppelganger D That was right around the time I first started. I didn't find the magical temple for a long time, because I would always head right, along the top of levels and zig-zag up and down to the left to check everywhere. I just got to a parallel world for the first time a week or two ago LOL! XD I was finishing up my degree though, so I didn't have a lot of time to play before. I remember I was getting a level further, every day, until I hit the Hissii Base and then it took like a week or so to get past the rest of the levels--and most of the time I was either invisible or shrieking in terror while I ran through the Temple of the Art. Now-a-days, NG+ only depends on if I find a good diggy-diggy wand. I wanna go back to the parallel worlds, because that first time was cool ^_^ I got really strong. I only died trying to dig into another one, because I had oil blood and somehow got oil into my ambrosia flask and started pouring oil on myself while trying to run through cursed rock LOL! It didn't help much >_< ROFL!

You can climb up using the water flask and pour it above you to swim.

Tried with a lava flask and the stream of liquid just phased through his hitbox. Any idea if this was patched? or is it just that a lava flask doesn't work? Edit: tried with a cocktail, same thing. Also, firebolt bounced off his shell, failing to ignite him. I wasn't able to get one on him with his shell open, so not sure if that works, but it looks like this was *somewhat* patched.

If u were to go to the third floor and loop back round to the first, how would u deal with the other miniboss in that area?

It doesn't spawn unless you go right to the temple with the orb, this is from experience. So you don't have to deal with it, if you haven't made it spawn from you going to the temple before in your run for the orb.

I can never make it past hiisi hideout course my weapons are always bad. Usually still have the starting wands since I can't find anything better

you might have noticed at this point, but this game is real hard, you have to have a lot of patience. to the left of the 2nd stage, the coal pits is the fungal caverns, you can usually find some good stuff there (its very dangerous though).
