I had a digging wand that always casts the light spell with the giant wand (the testing statues in the holy mountain said it could do 2k damage when it gets going, but idk how accurate the numbers are on it) and i didn't do any damage to it because it made my wands fizzle and killed me without even hitting me.😭

i managed to beat it by using a black hole to blast a tunnel through the dense rock to the right of the orb room that i kited it back and forth through while hammering it with a wand with a personal shield and chain lightning bolt on it, while having explosion immunity and the permanent shield and projectile repulsion perks. the boss will eat matter to chase you through small openings, but it only ever destroys enough to just fit itself through, it doesnt give itself enough clearance to make effective use of its attacks or wands, and if it copies the lightning bolt, it seems to only copy lightning bolt itself, which is a much shorter range than chained lightning bolt, and the bulk of lightning bolts damage is as an explosion. i just backpedled through the tunnel, spamming my wand, and when we got to the other side i would kite around it and run back through again. i dont think it ever even hurt me, but that may have been luck. largest issue with this character now is that since im completely immune to any projectile below a high speed threshhold, i have no way of getting healing through healing enemies or healing bolts, im out of holy mountains on the main world, i have only ever found 3 3-charge black hole spells (which i have used all but 1 charge and am out of the normal spell refreshers)and 2 extenders, and am having alot of difficulty finding health upgrades, so i have no clue how i can get to the parallel worlds

Holy shit after watching this video the next noita run I did I came across a great treasure chest containing a water stone. talk about luck lmao Seed is 696106080 on the public Dec 1 2020 Noita build of the game. The Great Treasure chest can be found left of the entrance of the mines directly below the big rock "lip" that separates the collapsed mines from the regular mines. I found it in one of those wooden box structures that's surrounded by coal. All I got when I opened it was the water stone and nothing else. Thank you for all the noita content you make btw!

The vasta and vihta spawn in the sauna because the traditional sauna bathing method in Finland is to sauna until you're completely covered in sweat, jump outside and bury yourself in the snow, and violently whip yourself with bundles of pine/evergreen branches to scrub all the filth off your back, and then finish the rest using the branches and needles as a more traditional scrub.

I once played on the seed: 1710022969 which has a “Great Treasure Chest”(the first one I ever found in this game by the way) in the mines which has Lively Concoction and Draught of Midas. For those willing to mod the game to choose seeds instead of randomizing, I recommend this seed. I even greedily used the Draught of Midas to try to get to the Gold Room. I failed, but still profited a lot. I then collected what was left of the midas and also had some mixed in with my Lively Concoction(the bomb I used to reach it broke the flasks). I got powerful spell combinations, the Unlimited Spells Perk, and was able to flood the levels with burning oil and use a shielded triplicate bolt wand to fight through my enemies, healing when I took damage. I had reached the Temple of the Art for the first time. And then a Polymorpher came along and ended my run as I was descending further, because Noita!😝 But it was still a great run.

It just had a heart in it if I recall correctly, so I assumed it's nothing spectacular and I've never seen one before because it's from the beta branch.

How do you and the community go by researching this sort of stuff? I feel like unless people are taking a look through the code, some of this stuff would be impossible to find. Well, however it's done, it is just nice knowing that all these things exist and the devs put a lot of time into them

Some people data mine or otherwise look through the files, but a LOT of people experiment in different ways. This game has definitely attracted a lot of very experimental people who are willing to spend hours doing crazy things to figure out how/where/why/when/what things work, and then everything is shared with one-another on the subreddit or public Discord. The speedrunning community also rips the game apart and shares information back and forth with one another. I'm in a few private Discords for such things.

Either great chests are more common than thought or some of these can be found elsewhere cause ive got the water stone and kakkakari(poop stone) after just playing a few rounds and i dont think it was from a special chest. If i knew of the rarity at the time i would have saved the seed

Chaos Die can be still found in chests without defeating the alchemist boss - found it a couple times even though I haven't went there past 1.0 yet.

It requires the Alchemist to be defeated *now* but if you already found it, then you won't need to trigger this unlock flag, since you already have it unlocked. I just wanted to put the most current information in my video and didn't want to waste time mentioning all the other needless info. Watching different videos of you, now I know why Squidward "seaking" to destroy the nullifier runestone. He just chasing you to your position, and because you standing near the stone to protect yourself, he'll destroy the stone by accident, trying to get to your position. But I'm sure you noticed that already after your 'how to beat Squidward early on' video.

If the alchemist boss you're referring to is the one in the ancient lab to the west of the mines, then I've actually found the chaos die without defeating that boss.

That’s because it used to not require the boss to be defeated, or the spawn was bugged, so everyone already “unlocked” it and doesn’t have to worry about that anymore. NEW people to the game will have to defeat the Alchemist. I preferred to give the most current information in the video, though, for any future people playing the game.

It's easier to get now. If you (spoiler warning): get the essence of spirits at the bottom of the lake and then destroy an essence eater, then you will get the stone (the same is true for all of the essences and their stone.)

Seed: 1592742681 Location: just as you enter the cave in the beginning, after the downwards ramp, it should be just a tad south! That's true. The Master of Grounding and the Master of Wounding both have a disintegration field around them that will destroy certain physics items like the runestones and tablets.

This poopstone reminds me of witcher 3 blood and wine. When you were in the imagination land near the end game and end of additional content you could find fools gold in a pile of donkey shit and after you pick it up the donkey kicked you. Very subtle message from the game creators there is more important things than looting. Maybe the meaning of this item is "you play too much"

sandbox menu lets you spawn in great chests, but its pickups section doesn't yet include the runestones or kakkakikari yet. it's constanty updated, however, so they'll probably be added soon
